A Unicef report in May said the world was failing its children by not ensuring that they had enough to eat.

The report said India contributed to about 5.6 million child deaths per year, more than half the world's total.

According to the Unicef report, India starves more children to death every year than the rest of the world combined.

And don't blame democracy either, you don't see Canada or Switzerland starving more people than the rest of the world combined, every single year.

Do you know whats is considered a salary above the poverty line?

10 cents as per indian govt.. so if u earn 10 cents u belong to middle class... Abt 2006 article... last time i checked indian IT industry only benefited 6 million people.. while india added 100 million to poverty in 2010!
