It is the Indian Media who keeps talking about the 1962 war to picture China as a 'warmonger'.

This is the outstretched fingers from the Tibetan palm as Mao had explained. It would be rational to imagine BD forces and NE Freedom Fighters would be waiting at the southern end of the passes to welcome the Chinese.

I feel so bad about this, but hindus really take the cake on being colonized, enslaved, raped and slaughtered. Remember Hindu Kush '71? Remember how you tried to act tough but then ran away in fear when the US carrier showed up?

If Timur had a camera, we could have seen the last days of the ancient hindu kingdoms.... but all we have are his words

Timur

Timur pales in comparison to the what Genghiz Khan did to the Hans. He slaughtered 40million of you folk, it's one of the largest mass killings in recorded human history (right next to Mao's great leap ofcourse)

btw Unlike Hans, Hindu is not an ethnic group.

.
HAN is a conglomerate of hundreds of ethnic groups once lived in today's China, that's no such a thing as pure Han.Han is more like a cultural concept.peoples from different origins accepted Han culture and values and voluntarily merged themselvs into this culture and ethnicity.

China now rehearses capture of Tibet passes

A year after conducting its first live military exercise in Tibet, China has for the first time rehearsed capture of mountain passes at heights beyond 5,000 metres with the help of armoured vehicles and airborne troops.

The Chinese Defence Ministry makes this claim in a short official report that describes the exercise as the “first joint actual-troop drill of the PLA air and ground troops under information-based conditions in frigid area with a high altitude”. The joint drill involved the Chinese Air Force, ground troops, armoured columns and a range of support entities.

Unusually for China, the report carried a detailed description of the exercise. “At the very beginning... the new type warplanes of the PLA Air Force conducted accurate strikes at the targets.... Shortly after seizing the commanding point, the long-range guns launched full-scale shooting at the command post and the artillery position of the enemy.”

This was followed by the armoured vehicle group and infantry combat vehicles branching out into columns and launching a “sudden and violent attack on the mountain passes occupied by the enemy. The special operation detachment outflanked the enemy and raided the enemy’s command post”. Army aviation troops and anti-aircraft missiles, the report stated, provided cover.

Subsequently, the PLA report claims, after reaching a mountain pass at a height over 5,000 metres, the armoured vehicle group and the infantry combat vehicles “broke through the interdiction barrage of the enemy in succession”.

In a simultaneous effort, another mountain pass at a height of more than 5,000 metres but located “hundreds of kilometres away” was taken over.

“Conducting military operations on plateau with an elevation of more than 4,500 meters is an extreme challenge,” the report said.

China now rehearses capture of Tibet passes - Indian Express

There is an error in the title which should read PLA rehearsing US-EU-India attack. In case of war the PLA would not be facing only the Indian Army but a sort of US-Nato coalition army. The fronline troops would be Indian commanded by US Generals and Officials, equipment like missile, artillery, precision guided bombs would be US-EU-Israeli, logistics would be US-Nato, support and intelligence would again be US satellite, intelligence etc. So the PLA would be facing a pseudo Indian attack under US-Nato cover.

dont talk about hans in that way maaan....they are the only ethnic group to have defeated every invader using thier tool rather than their weapon...yes ...they used their phenomenal powers o reproduction to outbreed everyone who subjugated them and claimed victory....:toast_sign:...but what a twist of irony...that a group with such glorious reproduction history could only make one baby now...

.
many developing countries have negative population growth rate, you India's can breed as fast as you can and see what the result will be.

.
No harm in rehearsing. We rehearse war plans as well on both the borders including unconventional warfare. Training is something all nations do and China is in its own right to do its thing in its place. :coffee:
