This is different from what I usually post, but I decided to post a couple pictures my dad and I have taken while hiking here in Seminole County Florida.

Are you following marked trails, or roughing it? Those cottonmouths/copperheads freak me out, at least w/ a rattler you hear em

Ooh, two of the things I hate - crocodiles and snakes.

But doesn't mean I hate you. :D

Yeah, I followed the "trail"-although it is roughly marked and at times so covered by tree roots it does not feel like a trail.
As for the Cottonmouth-no need to worry:D That one was not even on the trail. It was hiding under a root next to the St. Johns River. I almost missed it at first, the only reason it is so clear is because my dad used a high quality camera. Their camoflauge is amazing.
As for rattlers, I have not seen any, but I have heard there are a lot of Pygmy rattlesnakes there.
I have seen alligators(not crocodiles) every time I have been out there, but never any big ones.
With that being said, the most dangerous creatures out there are the mosquitos.
And spiders. I have seen black widows under the railings or the boardwalk trails.
