Pics of INS Trikand

That ' Sovremenny' destroyers were many years ago!

Varyag is also a different story.

We refit the powerless piece of rusty iron ourselves, turning it into a functional aircraft carrier, seizing the opportunities of advancing precious experience of building modern carriers ourselves; and saving costs.

Whereas india's same russia aircraft carrier model has encountered a different fate on the hard side. Get it!?!

No, Varyag is NOT a different story and time doesn't modify the case with the Sovremenny's.
Your logic (actually, flaming/trolling) was shown to be flawed. Get it?

Wait, isn't Liaoning a training ship ... or wasn't it a floating casino...?

It is well documented why IN turned to Russian yards for 6 ships. Your question/statement was intended to provoke. All I can say is: don't dish it out if you can't take it in.

Why do Indian members get heckled by these dumb Chinese 50 cent trolls? just put them on the ignore list and move on.

I'm not Indian but I do get annoyed by troublemakers.

why it is not different?
We refit Varyag into a fully functional Liaoning independently
india contracted out their Russian aircraft for the refit

and time doesn't modify the case with the Sovremenny's.

there is no flaming intended! I am interested in knowing the warship building capabilities of indian shipyards through this "ins trikand "

Sovremennys were delivered to China many years ago
Have China placed any order with Russian recently for destroyers?

Wait, isn't Liaoning a training ship ... or wasn't it a floating casino...?

you are trolling and flaming! Where is your source about Liaoning being a "floating casino"!

Liaoning is a training aircraft carrier but it can also be turned into a combat aircraft carrier!

And you've got your answers:

I think u never heart about Shivalik frigates but what is problem when we getting frigates from Russia. we already busy with making advance destroyers and frigates and other ships so It will be very useful if we get more good ships from others country.:coffee:

No, India cannot..........because India is building 6,200 tonne Frigates now. Apart from having constructed Destroyers earlier.
Happy? Don't forget to apply for a half-dallah. I'll recommend you if you want.

It's a question of a lack of capcity within Indian defence shipyards right now. They are simply overloaded and packed to the rafters with orders. Steps are being taken to resolve this with massive capacity expansionary work but this takes time. India had the choice of waiting 10 years for the back up to be cleared so that work could commence on some frigates or go to Russia, get a reasonable deal, get a capable ship in reasonable time and decommission some of their ageing fleet.

I'm sure you'd agree the IN made the right call.

Now stop trolling @shuttler

Yep! And you guys can't even construct a 4000 ton aircraft carrier!! It turned out to be a museum!! :omghaha:

nor can they build casino ships and call them A/c's .

What do you mean? Our aircraft carrier Liaoning's displacement is 60,000 tons
Other retired aircraft carriers which we bought from other countries for an amusement park and a hotel also weigh more than 4000 tons!

We are building an aircraft carrier with displacement of 60,000 tons

We are leading in ship building tonnages of the world!

For a troll here, you sure don't disappoint with your lack of comprehension.

Well, I mean your frigates as war giant.

I know what our navy have, compare your navy corvettes-frigates with ours corvettes-frigates.

SWADS are our elite force and normally they get the best we can afford.
