Pakistan's "New Year" celebrations

Well, not really New Year's, but the Eid Milad un Nabi (the day on which the Holy Prophet(S) was born) I witnessed in Karachi was pretty equivalent to that for the Pakistani nation. The city was all lit up beautifully, with people in a festive mood. It was a sight to watch, wonderful. Not just Karachi, but cities like Multan, Faisalabad, Hyderabad & others celebrated with great fervor.
