How is it possible that Saudi Arabia has so much influence in Pakistan ? Is it the faith because the Saudi's are the custodians of the two holiest sites in Islam Mecca and Medina ? Or is it poverty that enable Saudi's to gain influence through their money ?

Well look at proportions. How many if any suicide bombings has Sipah E Muhammed conducted. Has it killed anyone other than ASWJ/SSP/LEJ nexus militants and at times by mistake their guards? Why are ASWJ militants given such large retinues anyway. We cannot fail as a state to protect our minorities. Otherwise we might see more incidents like the ones where christians lynched people (not all christians are like that but look at the frustration of poor rights for them)

We don't realize the frustration, the problems minorities face (including shias) which lead to the Sipah e Muhammed and Tehreek E Jafaria being so respected... not only among shias but among sunnis as well since I don't think the JeM is bad-its cadres should be given jobs in the police to eliminate militancy. Maliq Ishaq one of the leaders of LEJ threatened to kill shias in an open courtroom and when a shia witness was called he said "marey wey log baat nahi kartey", an obvious warning that the said person would die.

I think it is every states responsibility to protect its people and recycle rubbish like the Taliban and LEJ.

i meant sipah e muhammed btw. Sorry. I believe we should go after Hizb ul tehrir, harkatul mujahideen and lashkar e toiba but only after we eliminate the Taliban. Its a matter of priorities. We should first hunt down LEJ and the Taliban groups attacking us before going after groups attacking US or India-not only that but have been idle for a while and fund starved. It is simply a matter of correct priorities. Are we going to hunt down terrorist attacking us Pakistanis first or will we save US and Indian ***?

Landing boots in Yemen will be perilous in the extreme for Pakistan Army. Better option would be to assist via surveillance, intelligence and airstrikes and Pakistan's role shouldn't not go beyond these parameters.

No doubt being the custodians of Holy places and being a brotherly country who help pakistan in hours of need, KSA must be helped now.

anyone who thinks pakistan is islam's defender is blowing smoke. If KSA got invaded today half of pakistan would probably cheer. Arabs and especially KSA should realise one thing.

Depend upon yourself because as they can see when the time came pakistan failed miserably. If a bunch of houthi gangs backed by iran made them squirm to a worthless resolution then a full scale attack by the ayatollahs on mecca won't a make a difference

This is where arabs need to learn from arch foe israel. For 2000 years the jews have been colonised, beaten, pissed on by various groups. Relying on their host communities resulted in pogrom after pogrom culminating in the holocaust.
They finally realised that the only way to defend yourself is to depend upon yourself. Build a strong army.
