Pakistan’s Hand in the Rise of International Jihad-New York Times

on the contrary there is every point in attacking and discrediting the author

Such ridicule may placate the internal audience and even make one feel good, but it does nothing to counter the message before the important international audience. That is where the real game is played.

Thus far, sir, to be honest, Pakistan's narrative seems to be losing internationally. Miserably.

Afghan Government wasted time and now iniative is in Taliban hands and it would be Taliban who would decide How it would go

As we know what is happening in Afghanistan from the breakdown of the security situation to desertions within their army is all because of Pakistan

Now we have a new gem from the Times......Apart from the usual Pakistan=terror yadda yadda yadda we are also responsible for the rise of ISIS !!!

Interesting past couple of days first with that Guardian article and now this
It's a 'gem' from the notriously unobjective and biased anti-Pakistan hack called Carlotta Gall, though the NYT of course shares blame and responsibility for publishing a piece almost entirely based on gossip, speculation and unsubstantiated claims.

At least several hundreds.
All likely sponsored by the British, German, French and other Western European governments and intelligence agencies no doubt, going by Carlotta Gall's rationale.

Just shows their ignorance and lack of knowledge about the subjects they write about

When renowned international media houses are willing to publish unsubstantiated and poisonous rubbish along the lines of 'the US has concrete evidence regarding Iraq's WMD's' (and this latest Carlotta Gall tabloid piece) then Pakistan's narrative is not the problem, the irrational hatred and bias against Pakistan that is allowed to spew forth unchecked is the issue.

The NYT just gave us the Western version of 'RAW, MOSSAD AND CIA are responsible for all the world's ills' canards you see in some parts of the Pakistani press.

one Pakistani politician, who spoke on the condition of anonymity when talking about intelligence affairs, told me.
Mahmoud Khan Achakzai from the PKMAP - somehow he's become a fount of wisdom and top secret information regarding alleged Pakistani intelligence operations for Carlotta Gall, despite the fact that his anti-military (and at times even anti-Pakistan) tirades over the decades have made him one of the last individuals in Pakistan that the military would allow classified information to flow to.

Pakistan is the cause of every evil and deadly incident since the Great Oxygenation Event. That's why their flag is Green.

:sarcastic:

One wonders why?..There are 200 countries in the world, why would people concentrate on Pakistan when it's about terrorism (maybe Iran as well)? While there is no one else who comes up with a refuting narrative.

Is it possible that all are wrong at the same time spectacularly.

ISIS was result of US unnecessary invasion of Iraq by the US, rest is all smoke and mirrors.

pakistan was also responsible for the extermination of the native indians in america, the bombing of hiroshima, the killing of 1 million vietnamese civillian, the killing of 100,000 iraqi civillians in 1990, countless proxy wars in south america, and the failure that is now iraq.

What a dumb article. Based on hearsay and speculations from unnamed and unknown individuals. Pathetic.

Read some stragtic geography you will find your answer.

ahhhaaa hit a raw nerve didnt I ?:yay:

no seriously
when the audience is willing to feast on garbage like this NY post then why bother?

Sir, it does not matter to me personally, but it does matter to Pakistan's interests.

Pakistan's narrative is not the problem, the irrational hatred and bias against Pakistan that is allowed to spew forth unchecked is the issue.

So whose job is to counter this hatred and bias, and how?

No Sir, more likely sponsored and motivated by the local mosques and radicalized circles.
