What's new

Pakistani Parliament declares neutrality on Yemen, calls for peace talks.

It was Iran - congrats btw.. great job on the turks as well..

Maybe it was a mutual effort. At any rate, it was Pakistan itself that has matured to see through smoke and mirrors. Turks also have calmed down. They did not offer any soldiers to Saudis. Basicially Saudis are now left with US and EU as their allies. As always.

Iran's new President is reasonable. Pakistan and Turkey must reach out to respected Ayatullah himself. It's time to disengage from proxy war.

Our true enemies are smirking at us!

Very true.

And Pakistan is well placed to play a pivotal role in creating a compromise between the current Sunni-Shia (and Saudi-Iranian) factions, and thus healing the sectarian divisions in the Muslim world.

That's what your "true enemies" are truly afraid of. :azn:

Saudi's took a divergent view - this offense was to be viewed as a joint Sunni Muslim force coming together to take GCC matters into their own hands, they also wanted to flash a joint force against Iran. If you ask me - the Saudi's are up shyte creek in the new future for one because the strikes in yemen are illegal and, two - they now will not venture out to make any joint forces against Iran - probably will look to tow American line again.

Mixed messages. Parliament votes this yet Irani FM was given a warning.

Prove it. Bringing in conspiracy theories without proof is just that.

The truth is, your military is fighting the Saudi ideology. Not Iranian ideology. You can go on and make conspiracy theories. No body cares.

As for consulate, Iran has never objected to you allowing Saudi consulate to be built near its borders. By all means do.

Iran even did not object over Shamsi air base. Neither Iran objects to Saudis running around Pakistani Baluchistan ostensibly for hunting "birds" but who knows what they do there.

Grow up.

He's right Iran did permit India to open up a consulate in Zahedan. Why does India need to a consulate in Zahedan 25 miles away from the Pakistan border? They are supporting Balochi insurgency which Iran also complains about.

Of course Iran reserves theright to allow consulates on its territory, but can you at least understand the concern of Pakistanis.

Right decision. This shows an improving system and political maturity.

Time to standup on our own feet. The economy is improving and the there is a huge space for growth.

Enough with the shady games.

So? Did Iran ever complain why you provided Shamsi airbase to UAE and US? Did Iran ever complain that Arabs roam around in Pakistani Balochistan under the excuse of "hunting birds" but who knows what games they are playing there? Did Iran ever complain about these games: Preparing the Battlefield - The New Yorker

Get your act together. If you are worried about separatism there, then by all means, crack down there. Iran has been complaining over lax security on Pakistan's part. It is the Shia Hazara who are being targetted there in a genocide. Stop that. You know where support for these comes. Not from Zahedan.

Get your act together. If still it bothers you, you can go ahead an allow Saudis to open up a consulate there. That is your sovereign right. Exercise it. As Iran has exercised it. And that Indian consulate there, actually is part of Iran's effort to become a trade route to Central Asia via Chabahar and to Europe. It has nothing to do with your conspiracy theories. Iran even helped Pakistan to develop its Gwadar port, believing in healthy competition so much so that the Gwadar is not connected to Pakistan national electric grid. It is connected to Iran's national electric grid. Furthermore, Iran even offered to build a refinery and oil pipeline to Gwardar in order for you to be able to refuel the visiting ships. Pakistan refused.

Get your act together. Conspiracy theories will not take you far.

And please do not derail this thread.

When will Iran mature and close Indian consulates on Pakistani border sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan ?

RAFIDAH FILTH ON DISPLAY!!!!!!!!!

This is Pakistan forum please go to your Saudi Wahhabi Takfiri forum to spill your sectarian hatred !

What are you talking about "building refineries" if you're talking about oil refineries. Iran itself cannot build oil refineries, the last time Iran had oil refineries built was during the 70's and those were built by the British during the Shah's rule.

Although I agree with you lets not derail this thread any longer.

Iran will not close the consulates. Since India also has allowed consulates of Iran to be built in India.

You can allow Saudis to build consulates in Baluchistan, if you are that much hurt. Iran will not object. As Iran did not object when you gave Shamsi air base to Arabs and Americans and when Arabs run around Pakistanis Baluchistan under the cover of "hunting birds" but in all probability for other nefarious purposes.

But Iran will never close those consulates. Got that now?

And please protect Hazara community of Baluchistan who are being wiped off.

Iran does build oil refineries. And had offered to Pakistan as well. Use google to inform yourself. Right now Gwadar does not have the capability to refuel ships that visit it. It is a huge disability for a port.

And you did not acknowledge what I told you. That it is Iran that is supplying the electricity for your strategic port of Gwadar.

First go inform yourself. So you do not fall for conspiracy theories.

Was just listening to Najam Sethi's analysis, says Pak will stay neutral, If Saudis ask again, Pak's political and military leadership will dodge their questions, however incase Saudi territory is attacked and an alliance with a significant number of countries is formed for having boots on ground then Pakistan will have to send troops, since the perception on Pakistani streets would be that the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah are under threat.

Agreed Iran did an agreement to provide 1000MW of electricity to Gwadar since its cheaper to buy from Iran than to get it from Pakistan's main transmission line cuz of proximity of Gwadar to Iranian border, and Iran also did an agreement to construct an oil refinery in Gwadar, however I disagree Iran isn't supplying any electricity at the moment, it was an agreement done, under which Iran will supply in future.
