But it is after the qualification cut off. The only series left before the cutoff was the WI one which has now been cancelled.

So the England series would have no bearing on the Champions Trophy qualification.

Totally agreed!!

In fact, it was a bit embarrassing Actually, if we cannot win from West Indies or Zimbabwe do we deserve to play in CHAMPIONS trophy? i don't think so!

Anyway, the face saving is that the dates were never announced and the Pakistan's return tour of Zimbabwe was originally planned for November - December. We planned to visit early to try and get some points for Champions Trophy qualification but now as it seems done there is no need to do it in a rush and the series will go ahead in Nov-Dec probably.

AND, on thing more. West Indies are planning to play with India to pay for the abandoned series that West Indies left half way on there last tour of India. If that go ahead (rumors are India have agreed to hosting them BEFORE Sep 30) and West Indies can pull off a win, we are doomed, AGAIN

Tomorrow's match CANNOT be taken for granted we need to win it at all cost to make the situation difficult for the WI (as then they will have to win all three matches against India) but mark my words fellows, our team management will have NO CLUE about this at all and will take the filed tomorrow half serious (not saying we wont win but i am sure they do not know how important it can be to win this one)

The tournament is slated for 2017, a lot more improvement in the Bangladeshi team is expected by then. Younger and far more capable players might start to replace the current batch that beat Pakistan 3:0, may the best team win...
