Iran was the first country recognizing Pakistan.

A culture much influenced and almost built on Iranian culture. Pakistan of 1960's was much more progressive than it is today.

sorry to blast your bubble but Pakistan and iran are not at good terms at all. primary reason is because of Iran's involvement in Balochistan affairs. They were at a relatively good terms in PPP era. But now there have been border skirmishes. Pakistan and its establishment are PRO US and hence PRO SAUDI. Saudia has also helped Pakistan financially many times.
Y in the world IRAN and Saudi Arab have to act like rabid dogs and fight proxy wars in different countries. the level of stupidity in these relatively extreme religious societies sickens me.
