Pakistan vs Egypt Defence budget

According to this comparison Egypt's annual defense budget is 4 billion dollars not 7 billion.

Just a note that Nuclear ability is not taken into account, just a comparison of conventional forces.

In terms of strength we are equal to Egypt?

how come Egypt with the military budget of about 7 billion can buy 2 mistral ships, rafale and mig 35 jet, ka 52 helicopters while having 220 f16s, large numbers of Abraham tanks, Apaches,good amount of IFV, potent navy,and potent air defence systems like s 300 and patriots.
on other hand pakistan with the same budget only have 76 f16, 60 jf17, 500 alkhalids,8 subs on order,15 zulus on order, few new armed personal carriers like dragon,have extremely weak navy,no long range sams?

Every country has its own security requirements and a response tailored according to it. It is for the Egyptians to assess their needs and find ways to fund their requirements. Pakistan is in an entirely different region with an entirely different set of security challenges. How Egypt manages it's defence requirements is upto them and we shouldn't be playing judge here.

For what it is worth, my opinion is to fund our defence requirements from our own economy. We can not take our place as a sovereign dignified nation if we keep drooling over money that is not ours. We can be friends, brothers or allies. We should not be a dependent parasite. We build our own stuff or buy it with our own money. Respect from the world shall follow.

Pakistani's are not Arabs .. so these Arabs will never treat us the same way they will treat other Arabs ..
with all those weapons i doubt these Arabs can stand any chance against the Israeli's lol

simple, egyptians are street people selling out anyone who can pay them to put on uniform.
they cant even feed themselves and here they have grandious white elephants like mistral.

that is what i was trying to point out. the reasons we are unable to use our budget efficiently.
