It is no secret that PAF is interested in the MMU and that TA is pushing very hard to make that deal too. TA is trying to sweeten the deal by offering workshare for various things. However, Pakistan suffers from
1. Painfully slow bureaucracy - the PAF regularly annoys the crap out of TA
2. Overpromising and underdelivering
3. No monies lol
So let's see if TA's desire to bring MMU to the PAF is strong enough to overcome the factors above.

After t129 fiasco I wonder if there are/is parts problem in this jet too if not engine some other component that can force tai to not export to Pakistan.

We are good with j10 and jf17 for now.

That is true except bold part I dont want to talk about that haha. However, There is still no confirmation when Turks Jet will be 100% indigenous.

If someone has actually said that, then he or she is BSing. No one has any clear idea of what a 15 year outlook is and if they claim, they are lying.

We have issues into next FY(FY25). After that the situation actually becomes quite stable as most of the major liabilities are retired and there are no new ones currently contemplated.

Your biggest issue is these generals.... they have crippled; i mean crippled entire R&D. They sit and siphon all the money. Any R&D project cannot take off unless there is something there for them.

You people need to castrate these generals once and for all.

I work with some excellent Pakistani physicians and specialists - in Kenya, Uganda, here in Tanzania. A lot came over 20 years ago. We have established a word of mouth to bring in new people every 2-3 years in different fields of medicine.

The latest was an excellent lady ophthamologist; we need talent who will stay and contribute. In our lunch discussions, her biggest gripe - there is no money for research as if it is not a madarchod general's pet, nothing will happen.

Now what is really more scary - i had 2 consultants from India ; they went back - they said - more opportunities opened back home for them.

Let us get back to this.

I know a senior metallurgist and he has issued with stupid officers who have no undertsandingbof the subject matter but run projects. He was pulling his hair out.

Until there is real soul searching, nothing will change. Line up these thugs and until there is a clear french style revolution getting rid of these elites and there general backers nothing will change - your country will remain a slave to the chinese and the west.
