KHANEWAL: Six terrorists were killed in a shootout at Chak 98 by Counter Terrorism Department early Thursday morning.

According to a CTD spokesperson, acting on an information of the presence of 10 terrorists, the personnel raided the site where a shootout killed six terrorists. CTD officials added that the deceased were affiliated with the banned terror group, Al-Ahrar. The said group took responsibility of suicide blast in Lahore in which at least 14 people, including senior police officers, were martyred.

A heavy cache of weapons, including grenades, guns and detonators were recovered during the operation.

Very big failure of agencies..how did all this weapons and explosive got in at the first place?? Killing terrorist after a major terrorist attack is a shame..finding them heavily armed and loaded with explosive material is even bigger shame..it seems the whole state from top to bottom is in dismayal condition..from average police man to customs officer everyone is corrupt..!

Why arent the LEA questioning them in the parliament or suing them in court..in every country there is dialogue and accountability between civilian and military administration...american generals are regularly grilled in american congress over failure or vice versa!

I happen to know a recruitment agent in Swat who is openly sending taliban abscondees and afghan on Pakistani passport to jobs on gulf and charging them upto 5 lacs for the visa..when i called DG FIA KPK he was sleeping on job..and then in his half awake mood...as soon he was done listening my complain..the said..to kya hoa yeh to sab hi ker rahe ha..punjab ka bhi agents ha sindh ka bhi agent ha..sirf KP ma to nahi ha na....

Afghan official: IS kills 17 Afghan Army soldiers in east
An Afghan official says the Islamic State group launched an attack on Afghan security posts killing 17 soldiers.

Ahmad Ali Hazrat, chief of the provincial council in the province, said Friday the attack on the previous night took place in the Dih Bala district in eastern Nangarhar province.

Hazrat says IS fighters attacked Army security posts from three directions and after several hours of heavy fighting, 17 army soldiers were dead.

General Doulat Waziri , spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, says 21 IS fighters were killed.

America always wanted Pakistani co-op but we refused..on grounds of not wanting to go to war against our Afghani ummah chumma brothers..when ISAF was busy mounting action in Afghanistan..we were busy blocking NATO supplies...

If claiming to be one of the best Intelligence Agencies can't track the attackers and just provide the information that attackers are here, how come incomptent civilians can track and stop the suiciders?
