Unfortunately, it's very typical to question ones patriotism. When he/she asks any question related to military. I don't even mind it anymore. When I joined forum my patriotism was judged on anything and everything. Many members out there bashed me on my every reply. They believe since I live out of Pakistan and this take away my rights to share my viewpoints.

We really need to expedite in JF17s production. Our outdated planes F7s and Mirages have taken lots of lives recently. Heck we even lost a female fighter pilot few months back yet we are still flying some 100 + junks. Overhaul of PAF with new planes is already long over due and making our fighter pilots flying old planes is criminal negligence in part of our PAF +Govt leadership.

All purchases are made from the defence budget allocated by the GoP. This defence budget is around 2-3% of GDP. Most of the countries spend 2% of their GDP on their defence.

We are all military enthusiasts here so questioning or showing concern about military spending won't win you many friends on PDF.

The GDP spending quota is highly relative.Yes,France spends 2% of GDP to but France colects to the national budget over 40% of its GDP . How much does Pakistan collect,15%? So,in real money,the difference is huge because real money is what really matters and by that i mean the overall percent from the national budget.

Forget about Bangladesh, which is now nothing but a vassal state for India, the situation of Muslims in India has become worse than the Dalits. They are so afraid even to speak out this well established fact projected by Indian government itself that they blame only themselves and Paks for all their ills. Muslims in India live in ghettos with the least possible opportunity for education and health. They have accepted the status quo as their fate only to live in even more fear and hopelessness. They even don't dare to dream about their future for they perceive to have none. Writing about them is so hurtful that I have to stop here. There are three very basic building blocks in a state....all three are necessary ...and excluding one will lead to complete destruction...
Education
Law
Defence...

Sir, the question is very relevant to the topic.

The topic if you want to discuss it should have a separate thread. So it is relevant to this thread. And by the way the schools, colleges, universities and hospitals you so desperately want opened have done nothing for this country. Dont get me wrong but the aim of 90% of their produce is to run away from this country rather than serve it. So some run away and the rest are driven away. Have you ever thought why that is so?why people do not want to come back but rather stay in UK/USA/anywhere else where they can lie cheat or beg to get in as 5th class citizens and never reach their potentials. In short you need to do a lot more before your universities and hospitals will give you the service that you expect from them. Till you make those changes all the universities and all the gunja and kanrah,s(one eyed one) horse men will put the humpty dumpty that you call Pakistan together again. Now can we get back to the topic. Any further stupid discussions which are irrelevant to the thread will be rated negatively and post deleted. Is that enough?
