It’s not even that old by ship standards and is a replenishment ship, not a fighting vessel. So the age doesn’t even matter. Even China had these in service just a couple of years back.

How about you pay the money and get the space to build that new Turkish ship? Or maybe take place the naval officers that are planning the acquisitions.

I’ll never understand why people like to make such stupid, outlandish demands without even a single iota of thought for the real factors behind these things, and that too without any technical knowledge either.

Exercise KERIS TALWAR 2023 will be held in February, 2023 the same month in which Pakistan Navy will also host its flagship multilateral peace exercise AMAN 2023. Indonesian Marine Corps' delegation will be led by Lt Col Amin Surya Laga.

The IPC agreed on the following drills:-
• Combat Marksmanship
• Close Quarter Battle
• Military Operation on Urban Terrain
• Jungle Patrol
• Long Range Navigation
• Combat Free Fall
• Amphibious Raid Operations

PNS Rahnaward, PNS Rasadgar, and Pakistan Navy Submarine Hashmat are currently docked at Bandar Abbas Port, Iran during their overseas deployment to the Persian Gulf / Gulf of Oman.

GEOINT analysis of Iran’s major naval base, Bandar Abbas, on 18 January 2023, revealed the presence of at least two Pakistani naval vessels.

On arrival at host countries ports, Pakistan Navy ships were warmly welcomed by representatives of Pakistani embassies and officials of host navies.

The Mission Commander along with Commanding Officers of ships called on naval leadership of both countries. During the interactions, matters of mutual interest and cooperation in maritime security, ship building capability of Pakistan, training opportunities in PN including sea training were discussed. Mission Commander conveyed well wishes from Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for the people of host countries in general and host navies in particular.

During the port calls, various bilateral activities including exchange visits onboard units, orientation visits of military installations and coordination meetings were undertaken. Students of Pakistani School Muscat and members of Pakistani community also visited PN Ships.

Upon completion of port call at Iran, PN ships participated in passage exercise with Iranian Navy Ship IRIS KAMAN to enhance interoperability.

The port visits of Oman and Iran by PN Flotilla will further enhance existing close diplomatic ties and cordial relations with friendly countries.

Mavi Balina is a Turkish-hosted Anti-Submarine Warfare Exercise conducted in the Eastern Mediterranean.

During Mavi Balina 16, Naval and air assets participated from Bulgaria , NATO Standing Maritime Group 2, Pakistan , Romania, Turkey, and the United States.

Pakistan Navy's fleet replenishment tanker, PNS NASR (A-47), participated in the bilateral naval Exercise TURGUTREIS – VIII and conducted training with the Turkish Navy's Barbaros-class frigate, TCG KEMALREIS (F 247), in the Eastern Mediterranean.
