Pakistan makes unprecedented announcement of nuclear capabilities

I had written a post before on risk of nuclear power going bankrupt.

There is a precedence for this development when Russia defaulted in late 90s. Acting on gora advice, and with disastrous consequences, Russia implemented economic shock therapy post fall of communist government. Yeltsin, who was a slightly better version of Zardari, pretty much let NATO achieve all its goals in Eastern Europe while Russia was being hallowed from inside due to misgovernment by Yeltsin's government. Russian security apparatus, recognizing the folly of trusting a gora tool, got their man to take control after the death of Yeltsin. In early years Putin tried to get in the gora good books but that did not work out because goras only want kutaas which Putin did not want to be. So began the slow rupture whose consequences we see today. Russia also got lucky because China entered GATT in early 2000s which started commodity super-cycle which enabled Russia to regain financial strength.

Goras have implemented same strategy in Pak that they did in Russia in early 90s. Goras never wanted a nuclear Pak and they have worked to bring Pakistan to verge of default after which Pak has no choice but to goras with cap in hand. Pak needs around USD20bn p.a. just to import oil. Post default, no entity will lend Pak any money so government will have to play ball with goras if they want to avoid Pak turning into Somalia or Sudan. Thanks to 5000 visas handed out to CIA by Zardari, Pak security is already compromised. Bankruptcy will result in coup de grace. Enjoy your last days of freedom because I dont see Pakistani Putin on the horizon.

It does look really bad for Pakistan but I believe Pakistan will make a comeback. The only issue is stupid policies. Pakistan needs to make a powerful and independent EC, let free and fair elections take place, make major reforms in the governmental system and institutes, make the state strong, let people have justice so they're proud to be Pakistanis.

Establishment and all political parties need to sit together and make an agreement regarding foreign policy, internal security policy, international relations, then establishment should allow the government to run Pakistan. Go back to the barracks.

Pakistan is lucky to have a rising China as a neighbour, they need to show the finger to the world and build gwadar, cpec, allow investment from friendly nations. Build close relations with Iran and import cheap gas/electricity/oil, make close relations with ASEAN, Central Asia, MiddleEast. This however doesn't mean you break relations with the west, you just need to show the west we have honour and care about Pakistan.
Imran Khan is not wrong, the west will never let go of your strings as long as they believe your puppets. With China, Middleeast, ASEAN, Central Asia rising, Pakistan needs to make good decisions. They need to promote Pakistan as a respectable and honourable state who cares about their people and interests, this will then give respect to Pakistan because what is the point of changing masters.

Pakistanis are busy fighting themselves but we should ask our political parties on why Cpec, Gwadar, Iran/Pak pipeline is taking decades, why are we taking our time to build this. Are we stupid? Gwadar/Cpec will create millions of jobs, all those nations investing could allow Pakistanis to have worker visas in Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, MiddleEast, Turkey etc.

You think India would waste time building Gwadar, Cpec, gas oil pipeline. Ofcourse not.

These begharats do not have the guts to fight india. In all likelihood, India will attack and may take over large areas of Pakistan. This is a perfect time for India as majority of people of Pakistan hate the army and they will definitely not get involve when india attacks.
You Imran Khan followers are deranged cultists and traitors. May your imran Khan cult die away soon inshallah.

If standing up for truth and justice and self esteem is being in a cult… 0/ proud cultist here!

Yeah great truth and justice, Imran Khan had the same scum in his government. He was helped by the same oppressive feudals like Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Usman Buzdar. He also talked big but produced nothing on the ground. He was maybe slightly better then Zardari and Sharif family who are just bigger and better experienced scum then him. He's from the same ultra wealthy elite.

You fail to realise that worshipping cult personalities like Imran Khan doesn't end well. Imran Khan only cares about coming into power again. He would rather burn the whole country down if he doesn't get power. He is a dangerous man who thinks he is better then everyone else.

I was thinking the man portable nukes are nightmare fuel for anyone thinking of seizing Pakistan's arsenal.
Man-portable is called a "nuclear bullet" - the Soviets/Russia and the US had them for a long time.

haha, its not about nuclear tests. When economy failed in North Korea, It started blackmailing the world with missiles and nuclear bombs, and see how it is treated in the world now, it became the most isolated country in the world, its only contact is china. Nuclear black-mailing will only lead to isolation. you will see that in next 10 years in pakistan
This is the calibre of lumber 1, packed full of duffers. They are being shat on by their own people for their betrayal, and now the world too, this is what the deserve.

Timing of this announcement is very strange. If he would hv made it on 28th may than it might make some sense but why 2 days before it?

1- It could be response of Indian military excerises.

2- It could be response of BJP lose in one state and its expected they will escalate anti Pakistan sentiments for other state elections.

3- It could be response of G20 summit in Kashmir.

4- Military who is currently facing backlash among common citizen and it could be an attempt to glorify military respect among common citizen by accepting presence of weapons which probably only 2-3 other countries have.

5- Indian govt is under waters due to mishandling of manipur issue and Pakistan govt is under pressure for what they are doing. May be both govt has decided for fake sentiment rise. Wohi induan soldier wala latifa jo chuti lainay k liye Pakistani tank ley aata hey. jab senior poochta yeh kaisa kiya tou woh kheta hey jab pakistani foji ko chuti chaiye hoti tou woh b hamara tank ley jatay hey.

Yeh koi naye kichri paknay lagi hey.

People nowadays only think local and forgetting their is foreign policy also
It's difficult to distinguish when the establishments foreign policy and retirement plans abroad have blurred lines.

As a Pakistani every single betterment pleases us. I'm just sceptical about the timing.

You don't quite understand the nuclear domain; this announcement does not endanger Pakistan's security but does send a strong message to India, who has made repeated declarations that it will invade Pakistan and annex Kashmir.
If you have studied these declarations, from our Defense Minister (am sure its what made the headlines) and then Chinar Corp commander responding to media (where he only said, if the Govt asks us to take over we will. He never said we will invade on our own) they are anything but declaration of will to invade. Nuclear or Military domain, you do give some idea of your capabilities to make sure the enemy has no ideas of misadventures. Then again you don't reveal this much, to let them know what all they should be prepared for do you?.

When it comes to Kashmir you need to understand few things, before considering these statements as declaration to invade Pakistan.

For a long time Indian Polity, tried to settle Kashmir issue in a more amicable way. Musharraf saab was the one, who came so close to settling it. It was his pre mature celebration of the event's result (am sure he had his reasons, where he had to cover for the Kargil fuckup and wanted this success). Even as recently as 2014 Modi got Nawaz to India for his swearing ceremony (which was planned as a regional cooperation), and followed with reaching his grand daughter's marriage (or some relatives don't remember who).

Its only in last six to eight years, that Indian began working on this idea of marginalizing Pakistan internationally. Since we never settled the Kashmir with LOC as permanent border, and Indian polity's strategic mindset changed Azad Kashmir and GB have come into play more and more. I say come into play more, but its not something Indian never spoke about even before.
So when the Defense Minister says its a part of India, its something our leaders always said. Did they mean they will invade every time?

Even if our guys wanted to do that let us say, wouldn't it be idiotic of ours to declare intentions so openly? Isn't surprise golden in strategic or military spheres?

Ukraine - Russia war has shown , tiny 500,000 strength army dies in 1-2 weeks , if the people of country are not willing to support the military they die in matter of 7-8 days

  • Does not matter it is SSG , Ranger , Police , random guy with rifle

Fancy jets last may be 2-4 weeks before Oil Depots are taken out by Long Range missiles

If people of Pakistan are not with Army the twig army will flatten out in 1-2 week max

No one in Pakistan is in mood to go help Pakistan Army
They can grab their $10 ebay medals and given them a Gun to fight

This is how Pakistani people view Pakistani Army as of May 14th 2023

Army should give orders to Airforce and Navy to protect Red zone - Good Luck when shit flies

This JX-1, titanium and others certainly remind me of baghdad bob for sure lol.

One can only imagine their feelings reading lot of the rest of Pakistani posters here regarding the state of affairs.

The utter insularity and delusion they have getting wrecked lol.

They simply have no clue how much public trust has now been eroded in an institution and its long term addiction to abuse of power.
