It isn't! Just because they don't attack directly doesn't mean they don't view us as an enemy country! Their warfare against us has been much more subtle and increasingly effective. The bleeding has recently stopped because of China.

In my opinion, minimal contact with the US is the need of the hour with only necessary dealings to go along with it. Why do we bow to a hostile power?
