I was just curious that why PAF opted for P&W engines in F-16 fleet rather than GE engine mostly preferred by USAF and NATO. It seems to have better thrust and reliability. Any members would like to comment?

There were no GE powered F-16s when PAF got its Block 15s

Anatolian Eagle 2023 : PAF F-16C spotted with Turkish SDT ACMI pod. Last year during IDEAS 2022, PAF contracted similar pods for intergation onto JF-17 fighters. This arrangement will make training between both PAF and Turkish airforce very effective.

That's more like parked together / alongside then parted, if it was parted then they would have headed / gone their separate ways.

F-16s may be good in quality. But Please no more buying American shit. They have betrayed Pakistan many times.

China is a much better ally.

Not surprisingly China is very popular in the Muslim majority countries, and in OIC.

Also atleast China is anti-crusade.
