I was just curious that why PAF opted for P&W engines in F-16 fleet rather than GE engine mostly preferred by USAF and NATO. It seems to have better thrust and reliability. Any members would like to comment?

For 40 years, the Indian Air Force have been training to fight against PAF F-16s! Must have been a tiresome job! While IAF veterns think its underpowered, end result is known to everybody! What they never realized is the 'Viper' evolves with its threats!
