Karakoram Range seen from the backseat of a Pakistan Air Force F-16. During the Kargil War in 1999, Pakistani F-16s flew Combat Air Patrols (CAPs) round the clock for almost a week. Falcon’s agility prevented IAF aircraft to engage it despite having a significant BVR advantage.

Pakistan Air Force contingent comprising of F-16C/D Block 52+, air and ground crews arrives at 3rd Main Jet Base, Konya Turkiye to participate in exercise Anatolian Eagle - 2023.

The exercise is one of the largest and most complex joint air force exercises in the world.

Hosted by the Türk Hava Kuvvetleri (Turkish Air Force - TuAF), Anatolian Eagle mimics a realistic aerial war promoting interoperability between the participating nations in addition to providing an opportunity of shared learning.

Air-to-air meet with a Pakistan Air Force F-16B EMLU-III during the Anatolian Eagle. During the Exercise, a PAF officer quoted, “PAF pilots were pitted against RAF Typhoons. There were three set-ups and in all three, we shot down the Typhoons. The RAF pilots were shocked”
