Dear, when ALLAH SWT named us Muslim then who has rights to add pre-fix and suffix with word Muslim?

Acording to you, High Court Judges cannot be threatened, well guess what, after Salman Taseer, even the President himself would fear molvis. So it is not unheard of for Judges to come under pressure.
The SC judges were brave enough to give the correct Judgement, and it shall remain in force until the review petition is heard, Khadim Rizvi can cry all he wants
and you yourself mentioned that the protection of minorities is our duty, can you say the same for the Christian couple that was burned in a brick kiln?

Abu Dhar said, "I was with the Prophet (SAW) one day and I heard him saying: "There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal." It was then that I became afraid, so I said: "Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He (SAW) said; "Misguided and astray scholars."

State needs to take part in religion. Ban unacceptable sects like TLP, LeJ, and TTP sympathizers. Clearly enunciate acceptable beliefs and unacceptable beliefs. Strike hard and quickly against any forms of hate speech or anti-government actions.

There needs to be an organized conference and major religious leaders and parties need to be taken into account. Ideally Federal government and military should be involved.

Pakistan is an Islamic nation, but this doesn’t mean that as a Muslim you can usurp the rights of others and be above the law.

We need to assure accountability for all crimes.

You didnt answer my question that why did those women and qari sahab made false allegations against asia ? Did they have any benifit in doing so ? .. did they have a dispute with asia ? .. i dont understand how can you people believe that they put such a big blame on asia on such a small water dispute ? ..

the last time a case like this went to court, the Christian was acquitted by the Supreme Court, in the end it turned out, the accusers just wanted to grab the poor man's 5 marla plot, which in the end they did so.
now then, answer me, why would Asia want to say such things, knowing should could be killed by a mob?

Exactly this is my point in this case there isnt anything like that ... that people who have filed case will get any benefit from it like property, or any personal grudge..
And the answer to your question is that she got emotional in that dispute and said those things without thinking ..

Deep state is dancing like khusras in front of TLP. We saw this drama in 2008 when terrorists were killing thousands and state was signing agreements. If you play Islam card then you can get away with all in Pakistan.

TLP isn’t there yet but closing down country for few days shouldnt be acceptable.

For a start anyone involved in violent protest should be in jail for 5 years at least.

I might say King Salman is. You might say Ayatollah Khatami is. Another might say Khadim Rizvi is. And it goes on, on, on, on. For example the Islamic world can't even agree on the most basic of things. The actual day for Eid. Differant days are announced. How can we have one custodian that all can agree on? Don't forget everybody will have their favourite mufti or mullah to tout as 'the custodian'.

This us the crux of the problem . Can somebody please answer this. Who is the final custodian of Islam? Why is is there even no consensus on simple matter as date for Eid?

Disagreements are perfectly acceptable and have always been acceptable...but rioting and looting etc are not....don't confuse disagreements in matters of Eid, or doctrine or politics as the same as rioting and looting...

Since you guys can’t agree whom to follow and which interpretation to accept then may I suggest that Pakistan should be a secular state which does not interfere in a persons faith, similarly the faithful will not interfere with the affairs of the state.

But then this would mean to shake up the very foundations upon which your country was created.

Although once you become secular, these mullahs will loose their power and will stop terrorising the entire nation.

The other option is to appoint an Ayatollah or something similar as the final authority in religious issues and only consult him/them. Although this is very very risky as such a person can actually take over the nation, Eg. Iran.
