Pakistan-China Joint Exercise "Shaheen VII - 2018"

Some reports suggest that all these three types are in Pakistan for the exercise.

There is more than just planes here. Chinese air defence command force is also here in Pakistan according to Chinese media.

Human's Logic what is better than 1 candy , a two candy and what is better than two candy, a three candy So yeah why not

But if you want to follow certain developments, if you want to keep track on latest news and how they evolved it's simply nasty - and in my opinion even more illogical - to search thru 20 pages of different threads.

Imagine this. During Shaheehn VII, all of a sudden the sirens start blaring at Shahbaz. Block 52s are scrambled which identify and intercept unknown Flankers which they proceed to engage. When any pilot achieves a favorable position for firing, they suddenly realize the support guys mistakenly loaded training missiles. Having nothing better to do, they just keep engaging in WVR skirmishes until bingo fuel is reached, whence they return to base. Later they enjoy snacks with Chinese pilots flown over to Shahbaz and they realize these are the guys they duked out earlier. A lot of professional interexchange of ideas takes place.

Disclaimer: If this post sounds funny, it probably is. But then, the world is full of funny things.

What if one PAF pilot, in one selfless act, decides to ram the Flanker or use its cannon? Then you'd have an international incident.

Though it is very confidential, but I will love to hear some post-exercise details of Shaheen VII.

The technicians who loaded training rounds also forgot to load the cannons.

I don't think anyone will be ramming planes intentionally.

It will provide PAF pilots a glimpses into the performance of JF17-III :)
Where are they?

Let's go there with binoculars and cameras :D
On the surface J10C won't be much or rather any different from J10B.

Guys ... do we really need once again three separate threads for nearly exactly the same topic??

We already have these two

... so why a third one??
Mate, you are a moderator so I think you can merge the threads :enjoy:

Pilots who find it sufficiently imperative to stop foreign planes from entering their airspace, especially those with a pronounced sense of duty, might very well be mentally toned to ram any planes.

Pilots do nothing without appropriate approval. This is ingrained within the psyche of each pilot. A pilot who could ram a plane could just as well drive it into a military installation.

Chinese J-10C fighter at China-Pakistan air exercise

This year's China-Pakistan joint international air exercise dubbed Shaheen-VII kicked off at a Pakistan air force base, Times of Islamabad reported on Sunday.

China's Air Force has sent a number of aircrafts to take part in the exercise, including several J-10C fighters.
The joint exercises are due to last 24 days.

The J-10C is an improved version of China's J-10 fighter. It is equipped with an Active Electronically Steered Array system (AESA), as well as an opto-electronic detection system to improve combat situations. The J-10C was activated for combat duty in April, 2018.

"The J-10C is more capable of locating targets. The new technology on-board gives it an edge during an air-to-air combat," said Wang Zhiming, a Chinese military specialist. "The J-10C is a significant upgrade to the Chinese Air Force, and significantly improves China's air defenses."

"This year's Shaheen-VII exercise will enhance bilateral military and political ties, and will help enhance the capability of the air forces of the two friendly neighbors," said Commodore Syed Muhammad Ali with the Pakistan Air Force.

Next year's "Shaheen" air exercises, which have been annual events since 2011, will be held in China.
Well I really feel jealoused as Paf had some or so much input for making this shape with DSI intakes. Might also had contribution in other avionics. But still we haven't decided to buy this beauty. Apart from just debating it brings nothing new on the table.
Once there was a time Paf was striving all over the world for any potential fighter jet. Now placed on the plate in front and acting like a naughty boy not having its meal.

China who send an unusual huge delegate of planes for this exercise is also trying out their new modern doctrine first time against a foreign airforce. J-10C send is also trying to verify their EW doctrine. I believe this exercise, PLAAF will try their very best and maximise all equipment available.
