Air raids will cause collateral damage, which will cause more terrorism. Its as simple cause-effect loop, as that.
Only a mind lacking capacity to deal with complexity, will choose this response to the situation Pakistan has got on hand.

Terrorism is increasingly regardless. Innocent Pakistanis are being killed. Nothing is being done. If ttp/afghan terrorists and their family members are killed, perhaps they will think twice about killing our innocent people. Also, afghans need to be careful if they are to survive and not be wiped out as there may be a famine coming soon to afghanistan:

Some retards want our soldiers to become sitting ducks as TTP ambush posts everyday. Remember we are not going anywhere unlike USA. Against guerilla tactics airstrikes are the only option left. So 2 points

1. Unlike USA we are not going anywhere.
2. Knowing this TTP leaders should understand that PAF can carry out strikes like these forever.

Now is up to afghanis to decide if they want to continue to die like pigs while begging for food. While they sell little daughters in market to feed their empty stomach while giving lectures on Islam.

Pardon my ignorance but what exactly is LCB? Also, the weapons deployed were they stand-off weapons that do not require PAF to enter the enemy territory or just guided munitions?

Nopes, it was a combined operation, jets bombing, followed by commando units closely supported by gunships.

This is what urban conflict looks like, as nasty and blood drenched as you can imagine.
Using ordinary people as shields ( willingly or otherwise ) is a very dangerous policy for both TTP and the proverbial shields.

Yeah, but we are far away than that at the moment. It would require lots of resources of all types.

SSG goes to a far greater depth than LCB.

It would be too costly to try to establish a buffer zone. Instead we can spend that money on strong border defences and we can create a hybrid buffer zone where we don’t set foot in Afghanistan but we have a proxy (have a loyal pro pak IEA faction) that controls the border on afghan side.

A famine in Afghanistan may (or may not) accelerate terrorism in Pakistan. But definitely won't be of any help reducing it.

Many are predicting a famine in afghanistan in the coming few years. If it happens and Pakistan plays it's cards right, we could potentially eradicate afghan terrorism against Pakistan for good.
