Pakistan Army on Friday asked Kabul to handover 76 terrorists hiding in Afghanistan, Inter Services Public Relations said.

The head of the military’s media wing DG ISPR Major-General Asif Ghafoor said Afghan Embassy officials were called to General Headquarters. “Given list of 76 terrorists hiding in Afghanistan. Asked to take immediate action/be handed over to Pakistan,” he said.

The move comes after a surge in terror attacks across Pakistan. On Thursday night, minutes after the army chief vowed to respond to the recent wave of terror in the country, security forces closed the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan for all sorts of communication indefinitely.

“The Pakistan-Afghanistan border closed with immediate effect till further orders due to security reasons,” ISPR DG Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor tweeted shortly after Gen Qamar’s statement.

Speaking to The Express Tribune on condition of anonymity, a top security official said the decision to close the border was taken in a high-level meeting on Thursday. “The border will remain closed for all sorts of trade, transport and people crossing over to both sides,” the official said. He added that the border will now only be reopened after thorough consultation with civil and military authorities.

What if they are unable to hand over those terrorist?

Pakistan has yet to handover Hafiz Saeed and other terrorists

Hafiz Saeed supports an armed insurgency against Indian occupation forces in IAK. This is something many would support against an armed oppressor. He does not support mass casualty suicide bombings or the targeting of innocent civilians. He even speaks about the rights of Hindus and is on record saying that forced conversions, etc., are not allowed in Islam --- and nor is takfeer, the idea that one Muslim can declare another a heretic.

The TTP hiding in Afghanistan is a totally different cancer. They --- like LeJ, ISIS and other such outfits --- justify the killing of innocent civilians using the concept of takfeer.

Let's see what he'll do if they reject.

Probably the same thing all previous Generals have done --- send out yet another warning via ISPR while the country continues to bleed.

Who knows they have already given that. Because usually it's the foriegn office that calls the ambassador for these type of stuff . This is the first time I saw GHQ calling the Afghan Ambassador
Yes. That is the significance. Typically it's the Foreign Office which issues the demarches. The fact it's the military is very important and would not be lost on the Afghans.

Can someone post the tweet of ISPR about every drop of blood will be repaid. They mean it.

China and Iran will help in an Attack in Afghanistan on terrorists. The news came after Lahore Blast.
