Pakistan Army Major and Sepoy martyred in IED blast at Pak-Afghan border: ISPR

Locations are different. One is Afghan Border and the other is Baluchistan. Situation is different in both.

This "wall" on durand line is a pain for all enemies of Pakistan. After the wall stands up and is manned by troops, the infiltration into Pakistan from Afghanistan will be reduced considerably. That will affect the supply of weapon, cash, illegal items and explosive material inside cities of Pakistan.

Pakistan is facing the threat of IED and ambushes because of wrong policies at Government level, Internal enemies/traitors, active external enemies, weak diplomatic stance and economic situation affecting funding to many institutions. Cost to build wall, cost to equip troops, cost to raise formations, cost to recruit and deploy agents. Cost to buy all types o weaponry. Its a 550,000 standing army, calculate the cost of 8-troop carrier MRAP for this size of army. Even if you put figure at 120,000 (PA + FC) on western border you need 15,000 MRAPs. One type of weapon is not enough for this war. Drones, Gunships, Artillery, Mortars, IED detectors, Mine Detectors etc are required just for the western border. Calculate the length of the western border where the wall has to be built. There will be construction of posts, towers or bunkers there also. New infrastructure such as barracks, medical rooms, helipads, Motor transport depots etc will be set up. All this will be interlinked because the enemy conducts successful attacks by cutting of posts and isolating them.

Had FATA and Baluchistan border with Afghanistan been secured in 1980's or before, we might not be witnessing such attacks today.

Don't you think that ISI must have created a significant network in Balochistan and FATA by now ? I remember watching Arshad Shairf Programs on Pakistan Ki Jung series where Commanding Generals made it clear that peace agreement give PA room and time to build up Spy network which was essential for advancements .
I agree with you on part that it can not be fully solved with MRAPS but a collection of the things you mentioned, but there is a difference in operations as well , FATA Was under mainly Army , Army conduct most of the operations there while Balochistan has seems extensively FC deployment , hence the equipment and gear changes and so does strategy right ?

I replied to you regarding the the IED Blast topic, not the video.

@Inception-06 should have opened a new topic i guess, or posted in an ambush related or BLA related thread.

That video was posted in June 2019. BLA channels have been posting the videos in the past but the situation has improved in Baluchistan, it was worse before. Is there a news report or web link of June 2019 that matches with that video ? If not then its an old video since i have seen similar older videos posted by BLA on you tube.

If the video is truly as recent as June 2019 then its a real shame.

I just wanted to show how our Soldiers are reacting to an ambush by gunfire when they are patrolling in a pickup truck, how would you have acted? How would I have reacted? How would a Pak-army Brigadier acted or anyone else in this forum, its a tactical question, this Video was just to imagine or show up how such a situation looks, and to find out solutions and other options on the tactical level, does not matter IED or not, even after an IED attack a gunfire attack can follow up. They were unable to fire even single bullet back because did not have the time to search protection, could not locate the enemy....would have been a totally different situation for the BLA bastards when these Soldiers were on foot patrol!

What happens after such attacks? Is there any deep investigation, as you and other PDF Members are trying to do, followed by changing the tactics and inflecting the enemy on any way damage to property or human as the US Army is doing through their military history by killing or hitting the enemy back on every price!

What improvement has been done in Balochistan? The attacks since 2018 are remaining on the same level, Gawadar Hotel attack, train tracks blown up, massacring a bus with over 20 Members of force, which were unarmed (laughable, I mean we are in a war situation, I on my personal will never do a step in Balochistan without a rifle, don't know why these were so naive ..).

Every shaheed has a story, touching and graceful.

I wish someone write a book, or there should be a website documenting biographies of every shaheed. People would visit it, get knowledge and leave their comments and prayers there.
