Not in the article you're referring to (which talks about the deployment of tanks on the peak), but the actual event itself from more than a year ago:I'm sure you did, too, because that part isn't there.
Tank fire is very accurate and I guess with the conflict in Pakistan and Syria the tank is born again especially in a role where it was considered quite weak.
Psychological impact (on terrorists) as well ...Hi,
Accurate fire is one thing---change the direction of turret real quick is another thing---using a variety of ammo is another---protection for the operators is another---protection from enemy fire is another---Infra red ability---correct range finders---.
and same goes for Israel and its PM netanyahu aka ''Crime Minister'' as referred to by his own people?Translation:"I'm a Pakistani who likes war and conquest and distracting people with 'Zionist' labels while taking everything I can."
And you wonder why Pakistan has a problem with corruption?
India has done nothing for AFg in the last 17 years except spread, financie and arm systematic terrorism into Pakistan. Yet they are the victimes not us.
If you read my original comment you'll see that the balance was on the impressed side with a desire for more detail. However, that doesn't mean the military efficacy and diplomatic-political wisdom of the maneuver shouldn't be called into question - not unless you think that second-guessing the Pakistani military is off-limits.@Solomon2 I think you should concentrate on positivity of your attitude -
I'm not doing that, am I?...rather than threatening and trolling on the whole forum.
Perhaps He already has?May ALLAH SWT bless you with 'Hidayah'.

The deployment has come as part of the Pak Army’s strategy in the war against the terrorists. The step has been undertaken by the armored regiment of Pakistan Armored Corps.
The tanks made their way to Brekh Muhammad Kandao Pass, a part of the Koh-e-Safed, which is 3,176 meters above the sea level and is opposite to Torra Bora mountains of Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province.

The deployment of tanks at such a high level is an attempt to ensure the nation’s safety.
Yo you still confused about Afghanistani territory? How about this, it isnt really your business considering you are thousands of miles away and dont belong to the region nor want to know the reality and keep trolling the same jargon about the DL...and whatnot..Doesn't Afghanistan claim this pass as Afghan territory? link
My "confusion" is irrelevant; the relevance is that the Afghan gov't claims the pass where the P.A. is currently deployed.Yo you still confused about Afghanistani territory?
It's my tax dollars at work, both in Afghanistan and Pakistan.....it isnt really your business considering you are thousands of miles away -
And International community and treaties have agreed that Afghanistan was carved in a certain way and does not include that land....If Afghanistan is true, or if you wish to advocate for it with some legal works, take it to the courtsMy "confusion" is irrelevant; the relevance is that the Afghan gov't claims the pass where the P.A. is currently deployed.
Also your tax money is killing children in Yemen, Palestine, Pakistan, Afghanistan and many African nations, I dont see you upset about it in the least bit. What have you done about it apart from trolling anonymously on an International forum run by Pakistanis? It's my tax dollars at work, both in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
