Pakistan Army Armoured Corps makes Military history, unprecedented World Record

. .
I'm sure you did, too, because that part isn't there.
Not in the article you're referring to (which talks about the deployment of tanks on the peak), but the actual event itself from more than a year ago:

The Pakistan flag fluttered 12,000 feet above sea level, on the Brekh Muhammad Kandao peak in the rugged Rajgal Valley of Khyber Agency, much sooner than anticipated after Pakistani forces completed Phase-I of Operation Khyber-IV, security officials said on Saturday.

Following an overnight push on Friday, the troops captured the strategic mountaintop which provided militants a vantage point to scan for and preempt any attempt to dislodge them from their last bastion.

“Every inch of the area was rigged with IEDs (improvised explosive devices),” a senior security official who looked over the operational success told The Express Tribune. “We defused 31 IEDs on our way to the summit,” he added.

Tank fire is very accurate and I guess with the conflict in Pakistan and Syria the tank is born again especially in a role where it was considered quite weak.

Hi,

Accurate fire is one thing---change the direction of turret real quick is another thing---using a variety of ammo is another---protection for the operators is another---protection from enemy fire is another---Infra red ability---correct range finders---.

Translation:"I'm a Pakistani who likes war and conquest and distracting people with 'Zionist' labels while taking everything I can."

And you wonder why Pakistan has a problem with corruption?
and same goes for Israel and its PM netanyahu aka ''Crime Minister'' as referred to by his own people?:lol::lol:

@Solomon2 I think you should concentrate on positivity of your attitude -
If you read my original comment you'll see that the balance was on the impressed side with a desire for more detail. However, that doesn't mean the military efficacy and diplomatic-political wisdom of the maneuver shouldn't be called into question - not unless you think that second-guessing the Pakistani military is off-limits.

...rather than threatening and trolling on the whole forum.
I'm not doing that, am I?

May ALLAH SWT bless you with 'Hidayah'.
Perhaps He already has?

It has made a world record by deploying tanks on the highest elevation level of 12,000 feet above sea level. This is the feat that has remained unaccomplished otherwise.

The deployment has come as part of the Pak Army’s strategy in the war against the terrorists. The step has been undertaken by the armored regiment of Pakistan Armored Corps.

The tanks made their way to Brekh Muhammad Kandao Pass, a part of the Koh-e-Safed, which is 3,176 meters above the sea level and is opposite to Torra Bora mountains of Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province.

The deployment of tanks at such a high level is an attempt to ensure the nation’s safety.

Indian army was able to achieve this feat back in 1948 under war conditions.

India army dismantled M5 Stuart tanks and winched the dismantled tanks across bridges. Tanks were reassembled and then used in Capture Zoji La Pass(11, 575 Feet) in Kargil, Drass sector.

Doesn't Afghanistan claim this pass as Afghan territory? link
Yo you still confused about Afghanistani territory? How about this, it isnt really your business considering you are thousands of miles away and dont belong to the region nor want to know the reality and keep trolling the same jargon about the DL...and whatnot..

If you sympathize with Afghanistan so much, I suggest you join their army...they need to defend their legal territory ...we can deal about your confusion once you have successfully defended their current territory :enjoy:

My "confusion" is irrelevant; the relevance is that the Afghan gov't claims the pass where the P.A. is currently deployed.

....it isnt really your business considering you are thousands of miles away -
It's my tax dollars at work, both in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

And International community and treaties have agreed that Afghanistan was carved in a certain way and does not include that land....If Afghanistan is true, or if you wish to advocate for it with some legal works, take it to the courts :enjoy:

Also your tax money is killing children in Yemen, Palestine, Pakistan, Afghanistan and many African nations, I dont see you upset about it in the least bit. What have you done about it apart from trolling anonymously on an International forum run by Pakistanis?
