Pakistan Army Armoured Corps makes Military history, unprecedented World Record

My "confusion" is irrelevant; the relevance is that the Afghan gov't claims the pass where the P.A. is currently deployed.

It's my tax dollars at work, both in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
some mexicans claim texas as their country and some Indian claiming Pakistan as their territory or Pakistani claiming delhi doesnt change ground facts

Afghanistan accepting Pakistan simply shows it accepted Pakistan boundries as well..there is no such open dispute between the countries on its boarder identification, a rectified agreement exist ...

The argument that durand line needs to renegotiated died the day Afghanistan accepted Pakistan

Last i check USA DIDNT PAY PENNY IN 2018 in Pakistan

And International community and treaties have agreed that Afghanistan was carved in a certain way and does not include that land....If Afghanistan is true, or if you wish to advocate for it with some legal works, take it to the courts :enjoy:

Also your tax money is killing children in Yemen, Palestine, Pakistan, Afghanistan and many African nations, I dont see you upset about it in the least bit. What have you done about it apart from trolling anonymously on an International forum run by Pakistanis?

I am not sure if you remember but I posted a topic in the afghani section and this guy was using the same baseless arguments without substance! He is just flaming again on the same topic.

What a Gift from the Fate!!!! In both Syria and Afganistan, Uncle Trump has had enough of playing a clown for the vested interests, but can't build a simple wall to protect the White Male folks at the homeland!!! If this is the case forget about running the federal government, let it remain closed sine die!!!! Anyway, most of the federal employees are over weight ladies - not at the top of the President's curiosity list!!! The top beneficiaries are ------- Turkey and Pak!!!!!!!! Three cheers for President Trump - hip hip hurray....

Now, which gymnastics will be put into action to eliminate the scums are up to the respective Armies of Turkey and Pak....

This midget tank is even smaller then M113.... please don't insult. T59 is real time combat machine.

This midget tank is the reason, Pakistan does not have another 1/3rd area of Kashmir, including Ladakh.

At the time, there were no roads in the state Jammu and Kashmir, that could even support at 15 ton light tank.

There were no concrete bridges on rivers of Kashmir, just rope bridges. So the tanks had to dismantled and winched across the rivers.

There were only mule tracks in the mountains of Kargil - drass sector, that were converted into roads wide enough to support a jonga.

And all this was done, while an actual war was going on. What mattered was, when this world war 2 light tank finally arrived at the battlefront. Pakistan troops were so surprised, they had no weapon, which could even disable a light tank, had to resort to suicide bombings to take off the tank's tracks, i.e laying in front of the tank with explosive belts.(not taking away anything from bravery of Pakistani troops).

It was only Nehru's extreme stupidity in January 1949, that saved Pakistan from loosing the rest of Kashmir.

It took Pakistan army 70 years to manage a similar feat .

As far achieving the distinction of placing tanks at highest battlefield is concerned, that too belongs to Indian army, that has place T-72 tanks in Ladakh at the elevation of 14000 Feet.

Nobody cares

Stop begging for attention like a bitter ex

Care or don't care. We have been there, done that, and that too more that 70 years ago. So neither is it unprecedented, nor is it military history.

We claim it is unprecedented. Never happened before. You can go cry river somewhere else about it.

A noob question,
How they start up the engine at such freezing temperature? If the tank is deployed in fix position, it still need to have its hydraulics and electronics working to engage the target, what is the power source, if engine is powered off?
@Dazzler @DESERT FIGHTER @Horus

Thank you in advance
Special engine coolants, hydrolic fluids and fuel is used.

RAWALPINDI - Pakistan Army has made historic World Record by deploying the Battle Tank at 12,000 feet height, which is unprecedented in the military history.
World record....LOL:omghaha:

Let's be rational since it's not a dck measuring fest. It's indeed an achievement for India deploying light tanks at such an altitude back in the day. Pakistan has a good road infrastructure in place to deploy tanks on Khunjerab Pass (elevation of 4k meters) but does it accomplish anything? No. Look at it from a strategic perspective; It's the first deployment of a heavy tank at such an altitude, in an area that's different from the plateus of Ladakh & Tibet. It's just a mountain top. Why was it deployed, 1- for power projection. 2- indirect fire.
If you still deny or object, I recommend opening a separate thread instead of polluting this one.
Thanks.
