Pakistan And India-Water Disputes-News And Updates

. .
Indians are failing to understand that Pakistani rivers enter our territory from "disputed" land which is kashmir. had the rivers flowing in Pakistan from Indian sovereign territory, we wouldnt have engaged a third party, world bank, into this and it would have been a bilateral agreement. All these talks of India unilaterally doing away IWT is utter non sense.

.
Every issue relating to IWT was taken up through this commission by both countries. According to the treaty this meeting must take place once every year.

Yeah right more such steps might be taken on diplomatic front

.
you are forgetting that water flows from IOK to azad kashmir. the logic of mutual respect to treaty doesn't apply here..

IOK is part of India, for all intent and purpose. If you don't apply mutual trust, then India doesn't even need to respect the treaty. Seriously, before typing understand what the situation is on the ground. Not what you feel or wish.

Your belief on your army is admirable.

Say it is under disputed land. How does that help Pakistan? You yourself said, if it is from Indian sovereign territory nothing can be done. I know you don't like it, but take a map from a third country. Not India or Pak. See which country they think J&K belong to.

Why should we give our share to Pakistan then your utilisation is 83%

We only take our share of 33% then it will be 50:50 ratio as mentioned in treaty

Look at our population it growing I bet any international court will give decision in our favour

Use your share, no body is stopping you from doing that.

It is our share that you must not touch.

Ravi is already dry and has been for several years now. Just check it near Lahore to get an idea.

Anyway I will make it clear to you:

The chances of scrapping IWT are even lower than you becoming the PM of India and replacing that loudspeaker Modi.

Now go figure...

Now you will have the pleasure of seeing the Sutlej dry too

So far all this has been about screwing you while staying INSIDE the IWT.......... imagine what we can do if we go outside the IWT ?

For starters the IWT commission talks has been called of INDEFINITELY so you will have no clue as to what we are doing on the Indus river. Now go figure ....... :D

.
Please destroy them and enjoy the Pakistan becoming a swimming pool!:taz:

What let you think we will only destroy dams only hurting us? we will make sure if we swim then bharti should too..

How will you know if we have touched YOUR share ?

Remember the IWT commission has been suspended.............. so you will be deaf and blind regarding the misuse of Indus water.

.
It means we can do whatever with the Indus rive till the talks are resumed

Pakistani delegation can neither visit India to see what work is being done nor will India share details of the work on the Indus river :D

Ok, if we are playing with rhetoric and jingoism, here is the Pakistani response:

Go build dams and stop our share of waters, Pakistan will have a right to destroy them and destroy it will!

Happy now fanboy?

.
look at the map. brahmaputra has a short valley in Assam and Bangladesh. The impact on Assam will be minimal. I cannot say what the impact on Bangladesh is.

My response was highlighting the "New domain of conflicts". By the way there are many tributries originating from tibet, landing on main rivers. What india could do is to make more barrages on three rivers that they have a right on as per IWT and nothing else.
