Pakistan and China bust human trafficking ring disguised as marriage proposals

you go to another country, look for vulnerable girls thru an "Agent", merry them without even seeing the girls.
For sake of simplicity we dont even bring culture, language in this discussion

what conclusion will you arrive at?
What conclusion do I arrive at? I would conclude the arranged marriage would not work out well. I would not conclude the girls would be forced into prostitution and their organs would be harvested. The fact that your media pasted these inflammatory rumors all over the country without a shred of proof is preposterous and a huge backstabbing.

These issues with arranged marriages, local gangs and greedy parents are all your own social problems but most of your countrymen are blaming it on the Chinese engineers who are building your roads and bridges because they a convenient target for xenophobes (who don't like people of a different religion and race in the first place). The Chinese leadership will look at your hot headed mobs baying for blood and critically examine whether having such an ally is an asset or a strategic liability.

For once, would you believe that some Chinese “can” turnout bad ? Or all of them are angels ?? Is the word “crime” something alien to Chinese ? Don’t they do crimes in there own country and other countries ? Some 20000+ chinese working in Pakistan. No one said all of them are part of this crime and all should be deported. The problem is caused by some 20-40 Chinese who use the friendship sentiment between two countries for there crime and will eventually create negative sentiments for Chinese in Pakistani’s hearts. Aren’t you afraid of that ? Also, China can’t loose an ally, we are ally because China need us too just like we need China as an ally. You got issue wth 7-8+ of your neighbours. You can’t afford to Add Pakistan to that list. Be realistic when you pass such commentd
I think you should direct your comments at the massive mob of your countrymen baying for Chinese blood, not to me.

No one want chinese blood. It was you, sir, who said all of you are terrorists. And there is no proof that those chinese are involved in any such crime its all just propaganda and our media became victum of zionist lobby.... these are your words.

Pakistan is not canada who will arreat Huawei CEO daughter for no reason. We are not american lapdogs who will arrest Chinese to please there masters. We are ally, we will think twice before taking any such action and the point “we took action” itself shows that the matter is very much real and serious. Otherwise our government wouldn’t have took it that serious.

.
No harm, seriously? After reading countless insults, many racist in nature, to China and Chinese people in the last week, I am not sure about that. It's shocking to me that many Pakistani would not give the benefit of doubt to their "Iron Brother", and readily subscribe to the stories like "forced prostitution", "organ harvesting" without a thread of evidence. "Illegal match-making service" is what I have seen so far.

Many of you, including "Think Tank" level of PDF members, are just as emotional and gullible as your eastern neighbor, can be easily manipulated by media with a mission.

Honestly, I doubt this is the case, love more so hate more? There is something more to it in this unusual outburst of emotion, judging by the nature of insults I have read. I suspect this "illegal match making services" would even become such a huge issue if it were run by Americans or Europeans.

This is a soul searching question, and no need to answer. I certainly hope I am wrong.
On insults i guess you are new to the internet :D ?
As for the allegationd well let fia take its course they will give final verdict on it

Chines needs to go now enough of this cpec already. Nothing is more important then our girls.

You people are hopelessly irrational. A strategic liability not an asset. China should treat Pakistan the same way as Afghanistan and stay as far away as possible from your internal social problems, economic dysfunction and geopolitical contest with India. Good luck.

Just look what you fiktards did to Africa. Go back and never come back.
Just warning in simple words.stay away from our girls, Bcz locals got big guns very very big guns. We will die defending our girls. Unlike africa.

If the Chinese leadership takes a look at the mess that your country has created and thinks "wow, these guys are really emotional and irrational", a responsible commander is going to think "hmm... do we really want these hot-heads in charge of nuclear weapons?" :coffee:

Son you must be very young ......... your grand dad would know who we are and what we did for China and what we can do even today. Its better that you don't treat us like what you do in other places, we don't go easy on people trying to exploit us and look down on us.

When you were living in communities, three or four families under one roof in one single room, your government and your commanders would give us exceptional honorable treatment as that of valuable guests.

. .
Pound for pound you are superior to India but they have six times the population and higher GDP per capita. If you are left on your own you are very vulnerable ... and under Modi the Indians are very, very aggressive.

There are some assholes in your nation who are effed up and create trouble for others.
Time to own that shit up instead of trying to flaunt your ego around like a small child with a small brain?

As for what happens to Pakistan without China.
Pakistan's survival was never dependent on China and will never be.
Currently we are in a mutually beneficial ordeal and it's working on, China is not some great benevolent power to be very kind and loving to Pakistan without reason. China has been cornered and it's very survival may also depend on Pakistan as much as Pakistan is depending on China these days.

Yet, there are things which are beyond the comprehension and logic of those that live for this small life. You measure everything in what you see, and what you can do.
We measure everything in what comes from heavens and how we react to it.
This is a difference you can never comprehend, but Pakistan has faced warfare on almost all its borders and tomorrow it can face it from China too if it comes down to it.

no body is blaming it on China, doesn't China have any crimnals? we are blaming on these criminal gangs. We are also blaming on Pakistani agents who are doing this for money...stop defending criminals this is not about China but about criminals. If this is not a criminal activity then why all the women are from far off small towns, lets them find a bride in Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad....because it wont work in the big cities where people are not as gullible as villages and small towns.

ISLAMABAD: Chinese Embassy in Islamabad withheld visas to 90 Pakistani brides after complaints of human trafficking and organ trade surfaced.

The embassy received 140 applications from Chinese nationals in 2019 seeking visas for their brides after a record rise in number of transnational marriages this year.

This sudden spike alerted the officials and we approached our Pakistani counterparts in this regard, Deputy Chief of Mission Chinese Embassy, Lijian Zhao told Urdu News.

We issued only 50 visas and withheld all the remaining requests, he said.

The DCM strongly refutes reports of Pakistani women being forced into prostitution and organ removal. The media reports have fabricated facts and spread rumors and there are no evidences to corroborate the claim, Zhao added.

The embassy also issued a statement after Pakistan launched a crackdown and arrested several Chinese nationals involved in fake marriages.

The Ministry of Public Security of China sent a task force to Pakistan to carry out law enforcement cooperation with the Pakistani side, it said.

According to the investigations conducted by the task force, there is no forced prostitution or sale of human organs for those Pakistani women who stay in China after marriage with Chinese.
He also denied the perception being established that all the marriages were fake and added that the Chinese nationals, who applied for visas of their Pakistani brides last year, have completed all the legal formalities before requesting.

However, he said, there were a few complaints of Pakistani women being tortured by their husbands, which we addressed.

Zhao asked Pakistani government to review its visa on arrival policy for Chinese businessmen as some marriage bureaus in Pakistan are misusing it.

He said the Pakistani authorities should probe into institutions and chambers of commerce and industry which are inviting those fake businessmen which are actually coming to Pakistan in search of wives.

NAROWAL: As the Federal Investigation Agency steps up its crackdown on a Chinese gang involved in deceiving under-privileged Pakistani girls and marrying them off with Chinese nationals on various false pretexts, two such cases have emerged from Narowal where the ‘marriages’ took place in January but the parents of the girls refused to let them go with their Chinese ‘husbands’.

Labourer Faryad Masih, a resident of Cheenay Saggle village, said priest Babu Javed, a resident of Abid Town near Narowal Grid Station, used to visit their house for prayers and religious rites. Faryad is a brick kiln worker and has six daughters and a minor son.

“In December 2018, Javed convinced me after my repeated refusals to send my daughters Isha alias Asia, 17, and Sunita, 16, to Islamabad to get them married to Chinese men, saying my daughters will go to China and I will get business, a new house and cash and a car. I became greedy and agreed,” he began explaining what went down.

Parents realised they were tricked, refused to let daughters leave for China

He further said Javed came to his house on Jan 3, 2019 and asked him to take his wife Nasreen and the two daughters to Islamabad immediately. “We reached Islamabad at 8pm. Javed took us to a huge house where Isha was married to Le Ze Dang and Sunita to Chen Sing Biao. There were about 25 to 30 Chinese nationals in the house, the security was very tight and many of them carried weapons on them.”

Following the ‘wedding’, Faryad said, he and his wife were sent back to Narowal. “When we told our relatives about the wedding, they told us we have handed over our daughters to human smugglers, who will sell them in China.”

Faryad’s wife Nasreen said: “We told Javed that the girls may have been married but we will send them to China from our home in Narowal. At first, he hesitated, but later agreed. On Jan 15, he brought our daughters home and said they’ll leave for China in a week. We hid our daughters and decided we won’t let them go.”

The girls’ maternal grandfather, Inayat Masih, said Javed returned a week later to take the girls along with three Chinese men and a woman. He claimed that Javed had sold his granddaughters to the Chinese for Rs1.6 million. “We sent back the Chinese with the help of local influentials and elders. The Chinese would take girls to China with the help of Pakistani facilitators through fake wedding documents and force them to work as sex workers,” he explained.

One of the girls, Isha, narrated her ordeal, saying that Javed took her and her sister to Islamabad on the pretext of jobs, but forcefully married them off to Chinese men, threatening that if they didn’t sign the marriage documents they would be killed.

Faryad further tried to justify why he initially made the mistake of trusting Javed. “I became greedy due to the life we live in poverty. I thought I have spent my life in poverty, but my daughters should live a comfortable one.”

He added that a couple of weeks ago he had filed a case in local court for dissolution of marriage. He also demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan take action against human smugglers and their facilitators so that no other poor family was swindled.
