Some will probably call this wishful thinking or impractical, but I believe there should be a requirement for every foreign male "convert" to prove his commitment to being a Muslim at the time of the nikah, or preferably earlier in the getting-to-know-the-girl-and-her-family process, to recite at least one long chapter of the Quran with proficiency (with at least two persons familiar with Quranic recitation present) and a certification can be approved to validate that this person passed this test. If the man is a genuine convert and really wishes to marry the girl this will be no issue for him and in fact it will be a win-win situation; he memorized a chapter of the Quran and gains spiritual reward for it (which every Muslim believes in, ie. the hereafter, otherwise one cannot be a Muslim if one doesn't) and he gets to marry a girl he is genuinely interested in. One cannot lose in this situation.Chinese don't even see the girls before marrying, don't even know kalima yet claim to be Muslim convert,
It is a little more than buying a girl and that too without seeing her. The poor illiterate folk fall into their trap very easily.
Media sting op brought that to light.
Credit to them where credit is due if this is the case. They should just tone down the flammatory rhetoric when we don't know for certain that the men caught were all guilty. And in light of the geostrategic situation of Pakistan we should tread this issue carefully and not act irrationally out of emotional distress, which is very much understandable in this matter, but it should be channeled in the appropriate direction.Media sting op brought that to light.
It's too late. The Pakistani authorities have already let their entire nation go into an anti-China spasm over pure fabrications and xenophobia. The Chinese thought some stupid fake news report would die out on its own but it just got bigger and bigger because the grass roots wanted to believe the worst about China. Now Pakistan has revealed itself as a backstabbing, extremist, dysfunctional society -- a larger version of Afghanistan. China is just going to calmly and quietly step aside and refuse to involve itself in subcontinent matters from now on.

Thanks God, you're not a decision maker, but a keyboard warrior. You have claimed too many times in your posts that it's due to China, that Pakistan is still standing on her feet. FYI, China has always played a neutral role. Just look at the China's role in recent PAK vs ind conflict...China is just going to calmly and quietly step aside and refuse to involve itself in subcontinent matters from now on.
“Last year, about 142 Pakistani women applied for wedding visas after marrying Chinese nationals while this year, so far, 140 Pakistani brides have applied for such visas, ” the envoy said, indicating a drastic increase this year. The embassy has withheld at least 90 visa applications and alerted the Pakistani authorities.
Talking about recent reports of abuse, the diplomat denied media reports about Pakistani women being subjected to forced prostitution and organ sale in China.
“Lies are being spread on internet and the media. They are talking about Pakistani girls being sent to China for forced prostitution or sale of organs. That is totally fabricated and for sensational purposes. There is no evidence for that. Prove me if you have that kind of evidence,” he challenged.
He said that out of 142 marriages, only few isolated cases of harassment or torture have been reported. All the marriages, however, were legal and registered after due process.
The envoy mentioned a complaint by a Pakistani wife, who wrote a letter to a Pakistani minister complaining that she was subjected to torture. After the letter, he said, the Chinese authorities probed the matter but found no evidence of torture. However, the couple decided to go for divorce after which the Chinese government provided the woman a bullet train ticket and air ticket and she was repatriated on May 2.
An angry mob of Pakistanis smearing your Chinese "allies" based on pure fabrications and internet rumors. You made a huge public relations mess and now the top Chinese leadership is going to critically examine whether such an irrational, dysfunctional country deserves our geopolitical support.
We even bought the lying b!tch a flight ticket home. What a waste of my tax money. Stupid lying b!tch should walk across the Karakorum if she wants to go home.
