IMO, if PAF really wants to threaten Indian air defense and military bases, it should try to eventually import GJ-11 or CH-7 from China. The current UCAV you see are pretty low tech stuff. They are cheap to operate to attack armored vehicles or army groups that have no air protection at all. But if you want to destroy opposing air defense, these things can't harm them. They are generally very slow and carry very little ammunition's. The only thing that can really threaten modern air defense is something like GJ-11 or CH-7. They are extremely stealthy all around and can carry a lot more ammunitions. They can also fly very high and at high subsonic speed. They are the first step to what eventually would replace strategic bombers like B-2.

It's a slow moving/maneuvering turboprop UCAV with very large RCS. Inherently not all that survivable. Why do people keep saying you want to use this in A2A roles or against advanced SAMs? It's just ridiculous.

UCAVs are great when you can sneak in there with no aircraft. But when there are aircraft, it's in trouble.

It's a lot easier for air defense to detect a large gunship looking UAV vs a small UCAV that only carries a few AGMs.

and UCAVs will operate under Pakistani Air force umbrella , ( F16 , JF-17 , J10 , HQ-9 )

TB-2 and AKINCI UCAVs easly can destroy all of them ...

IMO the PAF would use the Akıncı for peacetime ELINT and SIGINT. For widespread and around-the-clock coverage, it's probably cheaper for the PAF to operate the Akıncı than manned aircraft. You also eliminate the issue of crew fatigue when flying 20+ hours per sortie.

But for a true wartime strike capability, the PAF will need a jet-based UCAV.
