PAF Reveals Bayraktar Akinci, TB-2, WL2 and Establishment of National ISR and Integrated Air Op Center in a Newly Released Video

With AKINCI C, the total payload capacity and fuel capacity could be increase. Also, the maximum altitude information that was written in the specs just yesterday was passed (40.170 feet). With the MS-500, it could be fly even higher. It is now a Baykar tradition to produce products above the specified requirements, so don't get too hung up on the specs.

what engine will power MIUS ??
TEI is also working on TF-6000 turbo fan engine, which is based on the core of the TS-1400 turbo shaft engines. Cores of the turbo engines are basically the same....

MIUS has entered into the structural integration phase. First flight is in 2023. It's a full fledged 0.8 to 1 mach unmanned combat jet with 1.5K kgs of payload. Ferrying range is 500 NM and can stay in air for 5 hours. Will have AESA radar, EW, WVR/BVR, low radar cross section, aggressive maneuverability etc. Advanced AI would render the opportunity to mold and train these beasts into the images of the respective Air Command and Staffs. If PAF goes for MIUS, it has the capacity to implement and execute the doctrines, tactics, aggression and intelligence of its legendary air warriors who bring havocs on the Indians....

MIUS Block-1 (Kızılelma) will fly with a variant of the AI-322F.

A thousand horsemen raiding, we were joyful like children;

A thousand horsemen, we beat a huge army that day!

White helmeted commander screamed: Forward!

We crossed Danube in procession on a summer day...

We striked like lightning from seven directions,

Like a lightning, following Turkish riders.

One day full galloping on our horses,

We lifted up from earth seven layers to sky...

We see red roses of heaven blooming today,

That crimson vision still trembles in our minds!

A thousand horsemen raiding, we were joyful like children;

A thousand horsemen, we beat a huge army that day!

For a country like Pakistan which is very limited in terms of R&D Acquiring ToT with full rights of manufacturing is the best bet. This should be the new norm when procuring weapon systems. Be it from Turkey or China.

Now the focus should be on Man-portable ATGM'S. The Turkish Karaok lightweight ATGM should be especially looked at for special forces with a range of 2.5km and top attack capability whilst being lightweight.

Battlefield is changing at a fast pace we must stay level with it.

But keep in mind it was the Turkish aerospace industry that was developing drones and not the the Turkish Air Force. Everytime PAF spends money on R&D it takes money away from operational expenses and procurement. So it's kind of admirable the kind of R&D they are able to do. In an ideal world the PAF would focus on the air force and a dedicated R&D arm of the PAF or a separate aerospace industry that is independently funded would do the R&D. Hopefully, our economy and people at the top will allow for such a setup to evolve. There is some desire to do so in some quarters at least. Fingers crossed.

EDIT: The point was that the PAF cannot afford to sink money long term into R&D, which is something required for R&D. Consequently, PAF has less appetite for risk, low patience and high/unrealistic expectations. This is why it's hard for PAC to compete with Turkish industry.
I will reiterate the policy of Pakistan for the other audience because they still don’t want to hear it.

Pakistan will ONLY develop something indigenous if it cannot source it freely from a supplier or if the requirements are not met by a supplier.

How reliable is the YCL-8E claim?

Could the HQ-9B be a HQ-9C? Why choose an earlier system?

Maybe the HQ-9C is not ready - ie still in testing?
Maybe it was too expensive compared to the HQ-9B
Maybe the Chinese won't release their latest tech to Pakistan, keeping it 1 notch below their best?

Answer is probably a bit of all 3 knowing the chinese.

This Akinji poem was written by Ustad Yahya Kemal, who was a poet and a diplomat. He was the first Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan. There is a photo in PDF showing him and Jinnah together. It was his last posting for he fell ill and died after returning from Pakistan....

Life is indeed a connection of dots....

Surprised by the Akinchi induction. Turkey only inducted it less than 1 year. Pakistan will use this against the militants and the feedback will be given to Turkey to improve it more. Truly a beast of a drone, can carry air to air missiles, even cruise missiles. Should be used to monitor and destroy any terrorists around the border region.

The Akinchi - is the best that Turkey has and by every measure - it is a state of the art platform that Turkey is selling to Pakistan at the same time it is inducting this platform into its own armed forces. Nothing held back at all..

He would have been proud that the namesake of his poem, would serve Pakistan, as once the brave flying Akinci served the Ottomans.

LoL I see your game, trying to passive aggressively attacking our Chinese brethren, I repeat you know nothing, both China and Turkey are our close strategic allies and providing us with military, political, economic and diplomatic help and vice versa.

Ali baba and bleek are the same person, some poor injun.

Basically Akinjis were a part of the Turkic battle tactics. Kutubeddin Aybek, the Turkic general and spiritual son of childless Muhammad Ghori, used Akinjis to defeat Prithiraj....

Interestingly, only 17 such Akinjis conquered Bengal without any bloodshed! They were reputed to be so fierce that the Hindu King left the capital learning that they're on the way....

Even in the 3rd Battle of Panipat the French armed and trained Maratha Army was routed out by the fast charging Afgan cavalry at the final stage....

According to some Indian historians, the fall of the Hindu forces to the Turkic conquerers was due to their failing to master the techniques of fighting while riding on horses....
