PAF Reveals Bayraktar Akinci, TB-2, WL2 and Establishment of National ISR and Integrated Air Op Center in a Newly Released Video

Turkish Armed Forces have enough power to protect Turkish UCAVs

1-- EW Systems can not do anything against Turkish UCAVs which have great countermeasure capability against EW attacks

USA,İsrael and Russia are top countries in EW technology, still Their EW Systems could not stop Turkish UCAVs in Syria , Libya , Karabakh and Ukraine
Russians are bad at EW technology. When were real American and Israeli tech used to stop TB-2? Did USAF send in their F-35s or growlers in one of these missions?
2-- only Fighter Jets can intercept Turkish UCAVs
but Turkish Airforce F-16 Fighter Jets will always protect Turkish UCAVs

Turkish F-16s shot down 2 Syrian SU-24 Fighter Jets which tried to attack Turkish TB-2 UCAVs over Idlib Syria

( thanks to network centric warfare ( Boeing E-7T AEWC , F-16s with link-16 and AIM-120C7 networked a2a missiles )
Yes any fighter jet can easily take down these types of UCAVs. That's why they are great when the enemy does not have air superiority.
The converse of that is any similar UCAVs can do what TB-2 does. That's why you see PAF also having CH-4, WL-1/2. They essentially can do the same tasks.

also in the Eastern Mediterranean , S400 Air Defense Systems to protect AKINCI UCAVs against enemy Fighter Jets

and MIUS unmanned stealth Fighter Jet is coming ( block2 variant , speed of mach 1,4 , AESA Radar , a2a Missiles ) to protect AKINCI UCAVs
Right now MIUS is a half completed model. Let's see if it ever gets anywhere. And, you will definitely want a fighter jet to escort your ground attack aircraft. These early generation A2A aircraft are designed to be controlled by manned aircraft like loyal wingman concept. They are not meant to operate alone.

American and Chinese UCAVs armed with only 8-16 km Missiles
That's because they have aircraft and ships that can launch a bunch of missiles. Why would they want a slow moving aircraft with very large RCS carrying a whole bunch of missiles move toward enemy fleet. That just invites fighter jet to come and intercept.

on the other hand , Turkish AKINCI UCAV will be armed with 150 km TRLG-230 supersonic Missile and 200 km KUZGUN-TJ Missile

even French , British Destroyers armed with 48 x SAMs never can stop swarm attack by 10 AKINCI UCAVs ( 80 x KUZGUN-TJ Missiles )

1 x Fighter Jet = $100 million
10-15 x AKINCI UCAVs = $100 milliion

AKINCI UCAV is very sophisticated machine
It really is just an unmanned gunship. It's just one of the many platforms that can launch Anti-ship missiles. There are many ways like FACs that are also cheap and more survivable than a slow moving, large RCS aircraft.

Russian EW System AVTOBAZA jammed American RQ-170 UAV ( by a GPS spoofing attack that fed the UAV false GPS data to make it land in Iran )

also Russia has disrupted GPS during NATO’s large-scale Trident Juncture exercises in Norway

USA and İsrael have airborne stand off jammer Aircrafts
USA-İsrael used EW against Turkish UCAVs to protect PKK/YPG Terrorists during Turkish military operation in Afrin/Syria

Russian forces have been jamming GPS systems in the Middle East. The electronic-warfare campaign could affect American forces gathering in the region in advance of potential strikes on Iran

Russia has air superiority in Ukraine , still TB-2 UCAVs are destroying Russian military hardware including BUK SAMs day and night

its Turkish new military doctrine and TB-2 is not Chinese junk

MIUS is unmanned Fighter Jet will be able to fight against the highest capacity Fighter Jets in air combat through its advantages of unmanned combat

-- autonomy provided by artificial intelligence
-- AESA radar and next-generation avionics, sensor fusion
-- Aggressive maneuverability with delta canard and vertical stabilizers
and possessing the same advanced characteristics as 5th-generation stealth Fighters

MIUS will be fully equipped with artificial intelligence and that it can make certain decisions on its own

MIUS will be able to perform air to air combat , strategic attack missions, suppression/destruction of air defense systems and missile attack missions

then why USA - China have developed UCAVs like MQ-9 and WL-2 if they have Aircrafts ?

Russians would be very happy ,if TB-2 and AKINCI UCAVs in Russian military inventory to use them in Ukraine

do you know what about cost-effectiveness ?

Turkiye can produce 150 AKINCI UCAVs in price of 10 Fighter Jets

and enemy fleet can not do anything against AKINCI UCAVs which can fire SOM or KUZGUN-TJ Missiles from 200 - 250 km away

also AKINCI UCAVs are more effective than Attack Helicopters to hunt enemy Tanks

AKINCI UCAV vs AH-64 APACHE Attack Helicopter

AKINCI UCAV

Please note one thing: MIUS has to be "trained" for air combat, thanks to its advanced AI. Who else are better than the PAF pros?

Bayraktar has its own programming language, operating systems, compilers etc. for the SW it develops for its platforms. Interestingly, even the syntax is in Turkish language...

Is there any open source information on the software side of things ? I am quite interested in the operating system part of it - esp if Turkey has developed a derivative of its own for it ..

Russians in fact have asked China for drones.

In modern warfare, there is a real need for having TB-2 type of UCAVs since they work well as low RCS/lower altitude aerial assets attacking ground troops. As the technology continue to develop, this type of UCAV will basically replace what CAS aircraft like Su-25 and A-10 used to do. Akinci would be a little different since it has much larger RCS and would be tracked at much longer range by air defense radar, which can they scramble fighter jets to intercept.

You are right if AKINCI UCAVs enter enemy zones from thousands km away from Turkiye

but Our Fighter Jets , AEWCs and SAMs will not sleep
AKINCI UCAVs will be full of under protection by the Turkish Air Force

enemy Fighter Jets can not reach even 100 km close to AKINCI UCAVs

-- if enemy Naval fleet enter Turkish EEZ in the Eastern Mediterranean , then good luck to enemies

AKINCI UCAVs can fire SOM or KUZGUN-TJ missiles from 200-250 km away

AKINCI UCAV can work as F-16 to fire missiles on enemy naval fleet from safe distance
and Turkey can produce 150 AKINCI UCAVs in price of 10 Fighter Jets

-- if enemy land forces enter Turkish soil , then good luck to enemies

AKINCI UCAVs can fire guided missiles/bombs from 16/30/40/150 and 200 km away to hit enemy Tanks , IFVs , Howitzers , MLRS and mobile SAMs

AKINCI UCAV can work as CAS aircraft and Attack Helicopter to fire missiles on enemy land forces

and Turkey can produce 150 AKINCI UCAVs in price of 20 Attack Helicopters

Baykar Mius will hopefully be on the cards when it comes online. Inshallah.

But, will it still fly in 2023 when Ukraine is under invasion ? The engine's were supposed to come from Ukraine and now when it's in the middle of a war , I don't think MIUS will be there in 2023. Maybe 2025.

AKINCI will devastate Indian army if introduced in a later stage of Pak-India war ( I mean on day 5-7) . As by then there will be lack of air defence missiles and other air worthy assets on both sides. And AKINCI will face less then half of the normal day resistance in air from IAF.

Pakistan Air Force: Space Command

Also note the Chinese Space Station in the same video.

The then Science & Technology Minister Fawad Chaudry mentioned in 2019 that the first Pakistani Khalayibaaz will be in space in 2022 Insha'Allah.

I am pretty sure these are highly secretive matters...

Not that secrative - JF17 uses a realtime linux derivative - Tempest / F-35 use INTEGRITY-178 tuMP RTOS made by https://www.ghs.com/.

Very few countries in the world can write a brand new from scratch operating system and then build the ecosystem of tools around it - I don't think there has been a new one for a while now.

Tizen made between Samsung and Intel was the last one - and Google is attempting to a new one to replace Android/Chrome OS called fuchsia... and they have been at it for years and years.

I really dont think Turkey has built a from scratch operating system.

Good chance the TB2 O/S is a derivative of an open source Linux version...
