PAF & Rafale Story Will Not Go Away !

LOL you are kidding yourself. You know ot happened. PAF is close with GCC.
France has forbidden Qatari from giving Pak pilots access to Rafales and it's TSTs deployed to Qatar to support Rafale maintainance ensure that rule is followed.

It is similar to how US has prevented Chinese pilots from accessing PAF F-16s through a deal and by maintaining similar TSTs in Jacobabad and other bases

nothing new

paf trained on RAF gnats and hawker hunters in 1960s on exchange duties

(MM alam had plenty of hours on the hunter )

PAF pilots based in UAE as trainers have access to M2Ks for a long time now ,

PAF pilots on exchange duties with PLAAF have thoroughly tested and flown the MKK flanker

india should ask for F 22 to have any real chance against PAF

No, it does not work that way.

Mig 25 stolen by US but still Russia is using.

F 16 fighter were in indian technician and pilots hands. They have gone thru all technically parameter to evaluate the aircraft.

It means we all know about F 16 fighter. But, it is very limited and would not help much during the war. Same goes for Rafale...
Indian AF new all about F-16 but didn't really help them

It may be one of the reasons for delay in block iii induction just a guess.

It is your serious delusion that a fighter jet operated by an opponent in your hands does not help much or 'go a log way.'

Understanding how a fighter jet holds in dogfights, and how its radars, weapon systems function during BVR engagements, is absolutely crucial information.

The reason these jets fly is because you're not going to throw billions of dollars down the gutter just because your enemy now knows your jet, which they would've either way but maybe over a period of couple years and at a loss of few jets.

Knowing how the opponent's jet plays is half the game in any engagement.

It is not allowed for not nationals to fly the planes, UAE has pilots with 3000 hours on it and frequently flies with US af. I'm not sure it is exactly a merc air force like you are implying.

You're not looking into history, these are not isolated events. Pilots of other countries fly with different planes on exchange visits and trainings.

PAF pilots very effectively flew planes otherwise foreign to them during the Arab-Israeli war in 1967, how do you think that is possible?

Having first hand experience of the capabilities and limitations enhances predictability which in turns helps in designing tactics, for example how do you think interception works?

The story of a clock ticking in India:
  • 2:40 pm, Rafale has just landed. Indians in are going gaga.
  • 3:10 pm, Indians found Rafale has paint ripped off. Indians are in deep pain.
  • 8:02 pm, Indians recalled Pakistani pilots were trained on Rafale in 2018. They have declared tonight "a night of misery" and will cry the whole night.
  • 7:25 am (next morning), Indians realised 5 more Rafale are coming soon. They have decided to go gaga again.

:disagree:
Has anyone heard that those were older aircrafts with new paint jobs which started coming off in the rain? Also, that they were having communication system down issues with the aircrafts. Just curious to know if France pulled a fast one on India, knowing how French are.
