PAF New Batch J-10 C Spotted

First j35 will go for product for plastic and plan than its comes out for export in later this decade

And remember brother Pakistan has in his own 5th gen fighter program named AZM

J-35 has been flight testing and will be ready for 003 carrier. If not ready before 003 carrier is inducted. So 1 to 3 years before 003 induction into service with J-35 onboard.

However J-35 so far only shown is folding wing and carrier type landing gears and hook. They may not design one for PLAAF. Who knows. If PLAAF doesn't need it and prefer 6th generation which is being developed and has been in development for more than 4 years already since J-20 introduction which Chengdu engineers hinted, then PAF wanting J-35 would mean it needs to spend even more for development of an airforce land based J-35.

I don't think PLAAF wants J-35 because then it would have two 5th generation stealth fighters when the need is now to bring 6th generation forwards and focus is on J-20S with UCAV command and various types of fast speed, high maneuverability UCAVs. Spending resources to develop and buy J-35 when it adds nothing more to J-20 is pointless.

As we all know, PAF pilots fly both Rafale and J10c in excercise. If J10c is inferior to Rafale at least in terms of BVR ability, then what’s the purpose inducting J10ce? and don’t forget J10 c has lot of technology shared with J20, so PAF is absolutely knowing what they are doing, am I right?

I want China to sell J-35 to Pakistan eventually. But J-35 is shown at the moment to only be a carrier fighter. It is unknown whether there is a PLAAF version of J-35.

But while that puts PAF well over IAF in certain capabilities (not necessarily overall), that is something quite unaffordable for PAF. Where will Pakistan find the money to buy dozens of J-35? Yes it may force India to purchase F-35 or brand their AMCA as enough to counter it but Pakistan itself is economically not in a position for arms racing India.

Even with J-35 being sold at China's own acquisition price which would be the lowest they can sell at without considering any strategy to provide them for even cheaper just so PAF has good defence and capability against India if the relations between India and China are at that low level, it is still going to be expensive to buy!

Pakistan still has a decent defence budget of around 8 billion USD annually which is growing 10-15% every year. Within 5 years defence budget of pakistan will be close to 15 bn. In a 10 year period that is over 100+BN USD.

Even if 5% of budget goes towards newer jets that is between 6-9 BN USD potential alone in a 10 year period.

Cost cost cost, money matters. Even for the worst, the PLAAF don’t Indiuct J35. And we will have at least 6 EMALS carriers in the next 20 years, guess how many J35 we need, st least 300 to 500.

SPECTRA of rafale is a threat to anyone

And we don't know what kind of EW package on j10c
Result won’t cheat, I have confidence.

Its no problem for your aerospace company to remove folding wing mechanism and hook of j35 or another possibility is that we will go older version of fc-31 version 2 that had have no folding wing mechanism and tail hook of j35

Lets wait and see brother

I don't think PAF pilots actually took control of Rafales? Also they were in lower model Rafales than what IAF bought.

Arms racing India doesn't work in favor of Pakistan. India just needs to be deterred from doing skirmishes. India has no ability to invade Pakistan, if they are successful, Pakistan nukes India, if that doesn't happen or work for whatever reason, China would step in to prevent India taking Pakistan. Therefore the real concern is skirmishes and the politics behind it for both leaderships.

So all Pakistan really requires is force multipliers and strong deterrence for these small scale exchanges. That's not to say it should ignore major deterrence such as nuclear weapons and build up of forces over time to keep up to date with India's forces.

The key to long term stability with India is in Pakistani economic and industrial development. Once it is strong, there is no desire in India to think or say much to Pakistan with any animosity and vice versa. JF-17 is a good decision because overall it saved Pakistan so much money while also keeping its airforce updated. It is however a 3.5 to 4th gen fighter and now a 4th gen with some 4.5 gen tech in a 5th gen world that will later have 6th gens and highly capable UCAVs - Dark Swords, Loyal Wingmans, Hunters... J-10CE is a stop gap to find out what India wants to do if anything after Rafale. Will they purchase F-35? How will AMCA go? in the meantime, skirmishes are a gamble for both sides. India coming out of another skirmish defeated would basically destroy Modi and BJP. So things have reached a stability. Buying J-35 first would be setting India off. Responding to how IAF acquisition go in future is more wise. They can't simply choose to buy F-35 and receive the next day.

For sure, never underestimate Pakistan anytime.
