Pakistan GDP is increasing around 5% so by end of year we are seeing a GDP of 328 i.e increase of 50 Billion US$ ,Now real question comes do PAF wants it in year 2017 or they want it separate for a period of 3 to 5 years .For me I think this is going to be separate allocation from regular budget and at the end of the day will be dispersed on few years .
1. Regarding question about what will be bought Russian flanker have been on interest but most recently the news suggests other wise also India is going for Super Sukhoi upgrade which is more or less same so we cant match IAF in numbers so i think chances are quite lower .
2. F16 is hard to come buy but magical funds will appear as soon as it will be clubbed with FMF . But it will not be wise to procure further new F16 all on our funds
3. J31 will come but not before 5 years so immediately it will have limited scope with this development or
may be these funds are allocated for JV partner for this program who know .
4. J10B/C is a tremendous platform offering delta and canard solution and being single engine and recent developments in Avionics coupled with our own fankariyan can give run for money infact some well sourced professionals have mentioned couple of years back that PAF is evaluating it against Rafale deal .
What ever it will be haters gonna hate ,JF17 money and resources are self sustaining and thunder program will continue it has already allocations as well as life cycle . by 2020 significant numbers are going to be needed and JF17 cant do all alone , We can afford this amount as all things are worked out prior to this announcement .
