from realistic stand point, neither Russian or U.S made aircraft will do good for Pakistan, for it will come with pressure and embargo in time of war with India.
China on the other side, has no friend in India, and will happily provide weapon systems and spare parts in wartime.

You think J-10B old J-10B is created to test radar and avionics system for J-20, there are one little problems to get Chinese Flankers is that the "DESIGN IS RUSSIAN"China can't export its to third party without Russian permissions

Their entire budget is only 9 billion dollars at 3%,of GDP.

This increase would mean taking % up by over .5 %of GDP
that's a lot

1.5 billion dollars will not buy you any new combat planes that will add new technology.

Simply not enough money

This money will be for helicopters or armaments for your thunders etc.

Or at best token purchasec of 10/12 new block 52 which again you have already

European fighters are simply put of reach

The j31 is nothing more than a tech demonstrator and a decade away from export.

Su35 is also very expensive

That leaves China yet again maybe j10 but very small nos to begin. With

PAF can buy 36 J-10's or 20-25 Flankers with this money... plus read again they want to increase the amount to buy planes

I can understand why they would demand more funds.

Some of the equipment on show in India is awsome and eye opening for neighbours
