@Umair Nawaz , Yaara, the picture was taken in 2006 when he was commanding the PAF.
It's compulsory for the PAF Chief to be an active fighter pilot.

It's ironic that when PAF had the opportunity to buy the Eurofighter, it declined saying ''it was too modern for the PAF'' ...few years later, PAF is repeatedly fleecing the Typhoon with the older F-16s.
