Ottoman Union

This union will consist of these countries: current Turkey, North Syria (logistical point Aleppo), North Iraq(Kurdistan+Iraqi Turkmenistan), South Bulgaria(Razgrad-, Kircali area) West Iran area(35 million + Azeri Turks) and United Cyprus.

Partner states: Azerbaidjan, Georgia, Greece, Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia, All Turkic states, loyal Arab states (in the future Egypt might join when the islamists take power again) Broke Armenia would join since it has no other option(all borders closed, so it has to give in)

If we look at the current happenings in the world this could be real, but Turkey already has soft power in all these countries. We share a lot of history and culture. Why not one political entity? It will bring stability and wealth to the whole region (Balkans and Middle-East)

Really? Do you really think that the masses believe in the Sykes-Picot agreement that led to the destabilization of the Middle-East? Iraq for example is made by the French and the British. Iraq is actually three Ottoman provinces combined in one. That led to these conflicts in Iraq. You had a Kurdish province, Shiite and Sunni province that all had their leaders.

You like this destabilised Middle-East? Well i dont and a lot of people dont like it. Such a union would bring balance in the region. It will benefit us all.

They took some parts in some wars, then Safavids/Nader Shah used to counter attack and drive them out and capturing some Ottoman territory, and it was all repeated to reach a stalemate and permanent peace treaty. Dude seriously? You are saying it'll have same currency with western parts of our country?

I don't have a problem with an economic union, or even a political one, but claiming part of a country as a union is called act of war, not declaration of union, lol.

Beside Turkey, Pakistan and Central Asian Turkic States Iran is Member of ECO and Iran have different Interests than Turkey regarding Issues in Middle East and Central Asia ! This Point make a Succes of ECO difficult and on the other Side many Central Asian States are depend on Russia to winding up their Trade, they need new Trade Routes through Caucasus and Afghanistan & Pakistan ! If this happen we can built an Union which Include Turkey, AF, PAK and Central Asian Turkic States !

Exactly. Projects like the Trans Anatolian pipeline, South stream, BTK-Railroad that eventually will connect China with Europe via Railroad will bring the East closer to the West. Georgia, Azerbaidjan, Pakistan, Afganistan, Iran and Turkic states will benefit hugely from this.

To be honest, it was because they rarely, maybe never aimed for a total conquest, or a conquest at all, majority of wars started because Safavids and others were doing annoying stuff in the borders, Ottomans were coming from Europe, dealing with the situation and returning to Europe since its where their ambitions laid.
