Let's get the historical record clear. It was the Arabs of modern day Saudia Arabia that betrayed the Ottomans as well. Sheriff Hussein of Mecca and his Arab tribes were highly involved in the uprising against the Ottomans. In fact, it was they who attacked Mecca and captured it from the Ottomans after the Ottomans were already in a war with Britain and Western powers.

Trying to deny and put the blame on Hashemite Kingdom alone isn't going to help, it's important to be honest. In fact the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia even managed to form because of it's people's betrayal to the Ottoman Empire and with the help of the British.

Now I don't feel the need to label the name of every historical traitor, nor provide link to all the traitorous incidents and uprisings, I know from history.

Whats with this thread... Who cares what happened 100 years ago... Some people can hold grudge but I believe most of the people here aren't that illogical enough to care what happened 100 years ago...

Oh and for people who talks about how Ottomans were betrayed by Arabs should also know that most of the Committee of Union and Progress ''İttihat ve Terraki'' generals were named as butchers among Arabian people for their massaceres of Arabs... Oh be quiet, nobody has forgotten the financial aid they have offered from time to time. As for KSA's financial aid to Pakistan during floods, that was to be expected after all Pakistan has helped the Kingdom in military expertise and in other capacities, the relationship works both ways. Also, no Saudi women sent her jewelry for Pakistani people, lol wrong story, you must be thinking of the time Muslims of the subcontinent modern day Pakistanis sent their jewelry to support the Ottoman empire in WWI.

This isn't a matter of bashing KSA, it's a matter of accepting history, and that history is like Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia's foundation was formed on treason (to the Ottoman Empire) (support of the British) and ethnic nationalism. Umm you need to get your facts straight. Sharief Hussien was the appointed leader of Hijaz by the ottoman empire itself. That's one. Second no matter how you try to turn it around you and the rest of the ignorant people here like you the facts remain. My grandfather was jailed by Sharief Hussien for his turkish roots and was freed by the Saudi army. So stop falsfying history will you?? Hashmite Kingdom was in constant warfare with Saud so HOW did that work?? British participated themselves in fighting Abdulaziz with 8 planes.

If there is exist some defective humans in the history this is not meant that their sons also a sinner..! Sherif Hussein and his tribe does not represent all people of S.Arabia..And can not represent forever..! We can see Sherif Hussein and his tribe as a traitor but the sons of Sherif Hussein not traitor today!

Like i said that the sins does not pass from father to son through the blood.. Many S.Arabian people supported Ottoman Empire and was the soldier of Caliphate State.. Even today the majority of S.Arabia people love Ottoman Empire.. Look the pics and don't forget this fact !

And the meantime we shall not forget that Mecca was not the main front in the WWI and Sherif Hussein's betrayal didn't play a decisive role in the war.. Clueless as you are, Ottoman historical accounts show Arab Bedouins from the Arabian peninsula and specifically from modern day KSA betrayed the Ottomans joined the rebels and aided in attacks against Turkish troops.

I know the Hashemite kingdom is also responsible but don't act as if Arabs from modem day KSA weren't responsible. In fact, the founder of KSA, Muhammad ibn Saud waged war against the Ottomans in Arabia he received arms from the British in order to overthrow Ottoman Rule. Ottomans had to send a small army to go and crush the rebellion.
