Others Take Care of Their People, but India Takes Care of Its Companies

I tried to see this issue from another perspective. The endosulfan is a cheap effective pesticide and has a huge spectrum. It can kill most pests around. In my opinion, Its the method of administration that's causing all these problems.

Helo's should never have been used.

No there is much more to that.....it seeps into the ground water then affects each and everyone of us. There are effective pesticides available that may cost more but it is only due to incompetence and mismanagement on our gov't and politicians. India was suffering in the 50's and 60's and we luckily managed to gain expertise and have a Green Revolution thanks to the US but we did nothing to continue that....absolutely nothing........we are not pumping money into research instead it is going into pockets. The FDA uses a much higher standard to protect American citizens we should really heed their expertise if we don;t have the resources to do such in India.
