Not Easy for US to do an Osama-type raid on Pak nuclear weapons: Musharaf

US did their Operation Abottabad right behind Pakistan army base.. what else any proof required for their secret operation ability..
One day we will sudden see the news that Pak nukes are in US custody..

I agree with Musharraf, this is not going to be easy. First of all there will be no surprise as in case od OBL. Pak Army is expecting them and waiting for them to show up. Secondly, OBL had just one guy protecting him ( his courier ). Pak Army has dedicated Tens of Thousands of soldiers to Protect the nukes. Thirdly, the nukes are not in one location all in crates for US Seals to come and pick them up. They are constantly move between these hundreds if not thousands of sites and they are not mated. So the US may get few fissile materials at best and that too at a very heavy cost. Pakistan has already 300 plus nuclear devices put together.

I do not find this to be a very well thought out plan on part of the US. It seems more like chest beating and a lot of bluster and very little substance to this hype.

Before OBL incident, no one thought USA could do this in the heart of Pakistan.

The fact is, USA can pull off such operations anywhere in the world(may be except Russia).

There is a hell and heaven difference between detecting Indian helis and American stealth helis...besides, the thread is about US raid on Pakistan, NOT Indian raid.
you may have the technology to detect Indian helis or obsolete Russian planes, but detecting modern American stealth helis is a different ball game....they have proved it and this is what we are trying to point out.

well that's why backing Pakistan into a corner would be to your own peril....when people feel threatened, they take evasive action. If Pakistan feels (existentially) threatened, you can be sure that there would be a definitive response from our side.

so if you dont want to get embroiled into a MAJOR escalation, best for you to mind your own business and don't do something to try to harm Pakistan......do remember that it was bharat which fuelled nuclear arms race in South Asia. Not Pakistan.
