Truly though, politics aside... the PM should be the final authority on the appointment of the post. And the announcement should come at least in joint from including his own office. ISPR shouldn’t be able to do it independently.

So independent that they have 2 million cases pending and increasing every year be hundreds of thousands. Because judges get 3 months an year of paid holidays, them weekends and national holidays, and the rest of the few months they rarely come anyway.
