Isn't a visa free regime supposed to encourage hassle-free and legal travel between Nations?:undecided:
Who will take the responsibility if they "disappear" , get a hold of fake ID's or god forbid commit crime.
India doesn't have sufficient police or judiciary.
And most of them come with a political agenda.
@Tshering22 can explain first hand what they do.

All those things aside , a Bangladeshi has nothing to offer to the Indian economy.

Ach so! Them coming legally and disappearing is a distinct possibility. Don't agree with your last sentence though. Bangladeshis have a similar HDI rating as us.

Exactly , If they have a similar HDI / wealth, what will they contribute????
They are not wealthy westerners to put money in our economy.
We have no shortage of people (unlike say Deutschland , indem findet man immer weniger Ingenieure ).
So they have neither skill nor money.
WHY SHOULD THEY BE ALLOWED IN INDIA.

I won't go into whether they should be allowed into India or not. All I said was that they have 'similar' skills as compared to us. We can always welcome them as tourists the legal way.:-)

Sure , take a visa and visit. Enjoy Taj mahal, Have business meetings.
But it is because they have the same skills as us , they can not be allowed unhindered access to our lands.

Any idea on what is the Government policy towards our neighbors applying for skilled jobs in India?

Yes.
There is a very high minimum salary to protect the lower end(= entry level) job market. Dont remember the figure maybe 30 LPA.

If this is true, it's safe to say then that not many Bangladeshis will be migrating for jobs the legal way.

We also need to execute that treaty regarding the enclaves and fence our borders. Fencing such a long border is a huge task, but it nevertheless needs to be done.

Employment visa to India must have a minimum salary of USD 25,000 with the exception of (a) Ethnic cooks, (b) Language teachers (other than English language teachers) / translators and (c) Staff working for the concerned Embassy/High Commission in India.
