What's new

Next defence budget may touch $ 7.5 Billion.

The extra expense like War on Terror, extremism and local policing requires more financial allocation to defense for next 2 year till terrorism is eradicated from Pakistan. With inflation in the country at 15 to 20%, Army is actually asking for less. Inflation and extra terrorism expense could have demanded more...like 35%.

Currently at 18% but can be raised to 25%.

What is at 18%?

I would be more interested in how much investment is going to the Police force.

So, this is the post.
We took this vehicles's TOT from SA Paramount. Not many were produced nonetheless. Actually I'm not sure what we exactly got, just assembly or TOT. So we can't give you it's TOT since we are not the manufacturer.

7.5Billion dollars is 2.7% of Pakistan GDP.(GDP by june 2014)

As per Economic traders Pakistan GDP will reach 304Billion dollars by 2015.

Hence our Next year Defence Budget with 2.7% Allocation will be 8.6Billion dollars.

Add to this a 15% Increase Next year.

Budget of 2015=9.8Billion dollars

With similar calculation D Budget of 2016=12.7Billion dollars

With Similar Calculation D Budget 2017=15.1Billion dollars

With SImilar Calculation of 2018 or when This govt would be leaving=18.9Billion dollars

Hence by the time Nawaz Govt will be leaving our Budget will be 2.7times more than what is today.

And with roughly 19Billion dollars Budget in 2018.

We can start Aircraft carrier sort of project.Investing in a 5th generation fighter aircraft program would be done probably by 2016 When our Budget will hit 15Billion dollars mark

military need many system ASAP to handle threat from both sides i.e. TTP & India in case worse happens. PA must have new attack helos, PN need subs, and PAF needs more front line fighter to handle future threat and close the gap with india so Pakistan is not in good situation as our economy is not good and COIN Ops are eating our military resources and equipment.

I think these People think only living souls in Pakistan are these 600k soldiers and another 5k feudals/politicians. rest of the population of 179 million can go and F itself !!!
Just simply Pathetic !!!!! These jack asses are in arms race with India, and they will lose this even more badly than what their record say's on the battlefield !!!

If there is any increase please for the love of God give it to the Navy. I despair at the state of this once great arm of our services.

Thank you for many thanks brothers.

The Pakistan Navy during some of its glory days.
