Thorpe, of Westgate Road, appeared in the dock at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court on Thursday, where she also admitted breaching a community order and failing to surrender to custody.

Prosecutor, James Long, said the victim was walking down Westgate Road at around 6.20pm on April 30 last year when she suddenly felt like she'd been "splashed with water".

"She turned around and realised that it was not water but an alcoholic drink," Mr Long added. "She saw a female holding a plastic cup, which was still dripping on the ground.

"The victim clearly believed that the defendant had thrown alcohol on her. She spoke with the defendant and asked why she had thrown something.

"The defendant replied 'I didn't, it's raining'. Well, it was not raining. "

They always only pick fights when they know they can win. They will pick men when the men are by them self or smaller men who look weaker than the bully is. Usually the stories I hear about this things are also girls becoming attacked or one man being attacked by a group. They are cowards for certain. A brother of my friend recently got attacked in UK by a whole group but he fight them and actually managed to break one attacker's nose before other people stopped them.

Muslim men usually are larger than them or can fight so typically these bullies will pick women or old people or Asian or Indian men who are alone. In fact when I studied in Australia, I know many girls get very dirty comments from white men from all ages. Every one of my Chinese friends have many stories they personally go through. Myself I meet these situations maybe once a week and usually from younger men and teenagers. Girls usually leave the guys alone but guys will pick other guys especially when I'm just on train by myself. At night, can always have some people trying to give you hard time like go out every week and have one or two nights where people will at least say some things. Only threatened by violent ones a few times and have to avoid because you cannot fight two or three thugs by yourself and they may carry knife. When in a larger group these people will just keep things in words only and not fight.
