Pardon my ignorance, but why 'intensive' Arabic courses? Pakistan isn't part of Arabia, nor are Pakistanis considered Arabians. So why is Pakistan encouraging this? Why and how do you identify yourselves with the Arabs?

Dude its not identifying urself with arabs....its learning a language so one can understand his/her religous book in a better way. Eg: Central Asian Muslims, or those from Indonesia or Malaysia learn Arabic to understand the Holy Quran.

Another example can be of the jewish people in India or some other country learning hebrew to understand their religous book in a better way.

Burqa women don't need to be housewives, there's thouuuusands of jobs they can do that does not involve sex appeal; in fact that's almost all of the decent jobs out there.
