A diplomat said it right. Erdogan has a very low intelelctual capacity and leaves burned earth right now. Deescalation is impossible and from now on it will escalate further until he is gone.

He does have my support and everyone I know. I don't know personally anyone who hates Erdogan or is against him, Saudis, Egyptians, or from the Sham.

Indeed this question was answered by our federal court at least for Germany this week.
Foreign politicians don`t have the right to demand even a break on the toilet neither to hold a speech in Germany.

BUT, the government has the right to allow or even not to allow such a desire if they want. And this is the point, our government didn`t fordid anything. Yes, events were canceled, but a few more were taking place as planned.
Until now, this is primarly a fight between some german communities and towns on the one side and the AKP/turkish government on the other side.
And whatever we are saying about the chancellor, she is really restraining herself in this case and don`t playing Erdogans games.

IIRC, Turkish citizens need a visa before entering EU countries.
Such visas can be revoked at any time.
According to the Vienna Convention, a diplomat can be declared Persona non grata,
at any time, without having to state a reason.
Obviously, Turkey have the same right to declare diplomats from the Netherland
Persona non grata.

So there is no inherent right for a Turkish minister to visit the Netherlands.
