Israel will be in ride of their life when and if they attack Iran... i sure hope a attack does not take place for the sake of human lives.

Not going to happen. Israel wont attack by themselves, all their tactic is to push US to do it, or at the very least to hold World ransom on "we will start the war unless you keep increasing sanctions on Iran". Same game for many years now.

Well I think you hit the nail on the head by saying Israel's tactic is to push the US into the war for them.

What I think could happen is Israel may strike with very short or no warning at all. There are a lot of Americans who fully support Israel in any way, and many more ignorant Americans believe Iran to be the #1 threat to Israel and the US.

Should Israel attack just before the elections, Obama could do 1 of 2 things:

1. I believe he would (most likely) condemn a surprise attack, especially since it throws a big monkey wrench into his election campaign. An attack would be big news in America, and the ignorant war hungry public being fuled by the media will (I predict) expect full support from Washington. Probably will not come. This will most deffinetley throw him out of office.

2. He could do the exact opposite and surprise everyone that considers him soft on foreign policy. This would be his best chance of keeping himself in office while also rallying the American people into another pointless economically destroying war, just to swing votes his way.

Either way Obama loses. Putting US into another war just for Israel's sake is not smart in the long run, but remember, a presidential term lasts only 4 years...

I'm sure Israel knows this, and that is why an attack will probably not happen at this time.
